Good friends of Middle-earth, the Lonely Mountain Band invites you to join us for our annual tradition of breaking the Landroval server... with a truly stellar lineup of bands ready to showcase their musical skills, lyrical finesse, and the most amazing couture this side of Rivendell! Join the audience, dance the night away, and have no fear for your safety getting there or being there, as our security team will make sure even a new character with a freshly-minted Novice status can join the festivities!
IT'S WEATHERSTOCK TIME!
As usual, we will be hosting the longer-form Weatherstock Concert Series leading up to the big event this weekend, Saturday July 15th and Sunday July 16th on the summit of a more modest but equally famous hill... THE Hill, in fact, atop Bag End in Hobbiton itself. Or, as I like to say, we're gonna dance on Lobelia's roof!
Then, next week, on Saturday July 22nd, THE event! Weatherstock! A whole afternoon of bands on the summit of Weathertop with hundreds of your favorite people all around you!
So why should you attend? I mean, aside from these legendary lineups? Why, the goodies! Not only will our army of yellow and black-clad Tinkis have tons of the finest snacks, drinks, and other goodies to give away for free in-game, you can also earn a title for your entire host of characters just by being there!
While I'm unable to stream WCS due to work (booooooo!), I will be streaming the main event next week on twitch.tv/druidsfire! I made a special emote just for the LotRO music community, and anyone who follows my channel can use that emote in any other channel on Twitch. Other streamers are more than welcome to stream any and all of both the Concert Series and the Summit as well! Our only request is that you don't park a stealthed 'camera' character in or super close to the bands as they perform. There will be one at the Summit that I'll be running as usual to provide those fine up-close shots of the bands during part of their sets.
