Weaponsmith after 50

I was wondering about how the LI's effect the need for making weapons once you are into the Legendries. I know there is still a need for off-hand in some cases, but I wanted to get some feedback from others about it. My RK (main) is in the mid 60's and is my gatherer, who has been able to keep my alts crafting fairly close to her level.

Weaponsmiths after level 50 are fairly useless. Sure, there are some things like Burglar Tricks and Throwing weapons, as well as Guardian Shield Spikes....but I don't know how often they are used. Other than that, it will be off-hand weapons for Loremasters and Dual-Wield classes.

Lore-masters use staff and sword, hunters burglars and mariners always need a good offhand weapon for the stats. Most champions and beornings will be using 2 handed legendary weapons, but some like to dual wield. P.S. You can get your first LIs at level 45 - worth the side trip IMHO.

This *is* the other place.
Weaponsmith is of minimal (not zero) use. Woodworker is also far less useful than it used to be (since it makes quite a few weapons).

I prefer to have every profession on every server but this may be OCD more than logic.

There is a bit of cosmetic value, for those who like that sort of thing. I also wish I had bought the guild LI recipes when I had the chance - for their cosmetic value. I kind of regretted the guild grind when the the new LIs came in, redeemed a bit with the latest high tiers.
