Walk to Rivendell for Sally - Crickhollow Server

[Cissarose the Hobbit]

Recently an unfortunate event happened to two of our community members, Saelindwyn and Leeindwyn. A group of us have been fundraising but we have decided to get together and do a Walk to Rivendell for Sally to help the fundraising and to celebrate Sally's birthday. The event will start at 8pm server time and we are to meet at Celondim Docks. We shall be taking in as many Elven sites as we can. It doesn't matter what level you are as there will be plenty of people to keep you safe. There may even be a surprise or two thrown in as well. Come and join many of us and help Sally and Lee as well as seeing some Elven sites! More details on the route will be released closer to the time so stay tuned.

The event will be streamed as well. This is so thoughtful! Is there anything in-game that you need for this event? Food, items, guardians for low level characters? I plan to be there, and can also ask our kinship to see who's available. ?

Just as many people to turn out as possible! Guardians for low levels will always be useful as we (the group behind it) are hoping that players of all levels will come and join in. We're currently looking at a route and it's likely to include The Angle and OG Trollshaws.

We are pleased to announce that the route for the walk can now be revealed!

Starting in Celodim Docks the walk will head, and pass, through both the Yondershire and Shire. After that it is across the Brandywine to Bree-land. At the Greenway we shall head south and head into Cardolan and Swanfleet. Once in Swanfleet we shall make our way to Caras Gelebren, up through the Angle of Mitheithel, into the Trollshaws and finally to Rivendell. There may be a surprise or two in Rivendell as well. The route has been walked and it will be a little over two hours and take in many Elvish landmarks along the route.

The way the Swanfleet, Angle, and Trollshaws maps overlap does make that bit a little tricky to follow, doesn't it? I think it will be easier walked that mapped.
