Why? Are you saving up your gold to buy a pet tome from someone migrating over?

no, the characters on the angmar server are leaps and bounds better than anything else i have, dont want to waste the time rebuilding characters, etc just want to transfer them to a server where i can play with others. angmar is dead...

Then have fun with waiting next months, because transfers are usually thing extremally late in their lifecycle/at the end, and for now we know that this servers wont be closed before q1 of next year 🖖

Grats on having built the great toons. That's wonderful!

Your experience of a dead server is completely different than my experience. We have so many terrific new people; and wonderful community legendary server veterans. World chat and kinchat are fun, and there is a lot of group activity happening at this cap level. Big groups for Nazgul and Roving Threats. Smaller groups for a lot of other content. All fun!

I don't want the legendary servers to last forever; I understand they are temporary and I'm fine with that. But I sure would like to go to level 170 and experience truly new legendary server rewards for doing so.

I understand that your experience is different from ours.

is that happening anytime soon if someone knows? thanks

Not this year. It is expected that the Angmar and Mordor servers will conclude their journey some time in 2027, but details are as of yet unknown. When that happens, free transfers will be offered from those servers to other servers of your choice.

The Legendary Worlds always take a beating around Rohan because there just isn't a compelling enough end-game to stick around. The Erebor Raid cluster at level 85 is nice...... but even when it was end-game, many people chose to run other raids (such as Barad Guldur) for their legendary rewards, such as the Elder King tokens required to make first age weapons. Now that this is no longer a thing and other raids didn't offer any decent rewards..... (hint @Orion @Vastin for the next set of Legendary Worlds) the population quickly dwindled at 85 and 95, only to stabilize again at 100 and 105.

I see a lot of people returning now that we have all 6 Nazguls available, AND because we now have a good set of instances at level 100 and 105 to run, but they are facing a challenge of leveling the characters they left behind at level 75 or so, so I understand people are not wanting to do that and just want off with their stuff.

This all said, we are headed to level 115 and the three remaining Nazguls in September 2026. I would assume that at the very LEAST, as there are a lot of deeds to complete, we will will see level 120 and 130 after that, as level 130 contains the final set of deeds only available on Legendary Servers. That would put us somewhere in Q2 of 2027. They MIGHT decide to put level 120 and 130 on as a final hurray so people can get the deeds, and then close around late Q1 or early Q2, so they have a few months to allow transfers, then wipe the servers, and re-launch them as new Legendary Worlds.

What happens after that..... is a complete unknown. There are only rumors and unsubstantiated assumptions. Some think that it will end at level 130 with Minas Morgul, which to me is not an unreasonable assumption...... some think they will go on further to later level caps, and maybe even add level 140 and level 150 unique deeds to get. Whether we will reach level 160 or 170..... I have my doubts.

In any case, you can expect free transfers when the servers are scheduled to close, when they have an idea what they will do when level 120 and 130 and beyond..... but not this year. PAID transfers MIGHT become a possibility at an earlier level cap, they have done that in the past..... but we will just have to wait and see.

I would like to make suggestions for @Orion and @Vastin with regards with the next set of Legendary Worlds:

1) Implement a proper tier system in Moria: Tier 1: The difficulty levels as it was before the change, and Tier 2: The difficulty levels as they were introduced on these servers in 2025. More or less.

2) Have full sets of gear for all classes available at all level caps so people have something to work on, including level 85 and 95. Consider having end-cap rewards for these levels with scalable raids such as Barad Guldur and Helegrod.

3) Consider putting cheaper or even free Valars in the game, ONLY for Legendary Worlds that will allow players to "catch up" as it were. Example, when level 75 content is released, introduce a Legendary World Only catch up system that will get you to level 60. When level 85 is released, introduce one that catches you up to level 75, and when level 105 is reached introduce one that will catch you up to 95, something like that..... always 10-15 levels behind so you have to do the latest/current content still - similar to Valars - but make these legendary server only, and at a much, MUCH cheaper price. This way people can take a break for 2 months, come back, and not have a mountain to climb.
