Test thread for new forum to see if I can post

I am not providing numbers as it has proven to tip off the spammers, who then post AI-generated LOTRO posts that pass through human moderation until they start to spam. Most real people should see their permissions expanded after making a few posts. There are no plans to remove this moderation since it has proven generally effective.
I see. Thanks for the reply!

Does this work?

Can anyone tell me why my posts need to be approved by a moderator? I made two forum discussions, very important questions about the game as an older player coming back to the game. Neither one of them was approved.

One post was about the graphical updates. I remember hearing that we were getting some kind of text updates, at higher graphics, and I haven't heard any updates. Like the ui elements would be upgraded graphically at a higher resolution. But again, no word on that.

I also was curious about the reasoning for legendary servers being vip only. It seems like the point is to have a mass flux of players playing through the same content at the same time, at the same level. That seems like the big appeal of legendary, but making it vip only means you only get about 20% of the player base if that. I was curious as to what reasoning might be behind that. I get the "we don't want to overload a server". And I guess I get it in the 64bit server since it's a test, but what about the others? Was curious for an explanation, even from the forum's perspective, but again, moderated and blocked. So confused.

Testing. Also, Is the option to edit your post only available to ”members” as opposed to ”new members”? Or perhaps I’m just blind.

now I can post, just can't buy the new xpac, going to the page after signing in, it says I must sign in. ACK

It is a shame they could not bring over the list of members every time they go to a NEW forum. I have been around since the first day it went FTP and gone through a few of the new forums to have to wait almost 24 hours for my posts to get through. Oh well hopefully this forum will last for a bit.

Can I post? let's see... I don't seem to be able to vote in the polls however
There's a level of post count that you will reach to gain more access for posting. Right now you are "New Member"... so keep posting! At least in threads where you can post.
