Probably. At least that was my guess, and that is why I wrote a bug report. It would seems that the chat client or server or both are inefficiently coded, if this occurs. I mean, kinships can have many more members than 40-60, so the chat should be able to handle this.I wonder if trying to call the data for all of those players who are logged in is a factor?
On the other hand, I also experienced this to a lesser degree on the "normal" server where my kinship only consists of 6 regular members. Once when was late to our kinship evening, they just finished an instance and all 5 others were relogging to alts at the same time which made movement and skill execution an exercise of patience.
