By doing all the anniversary quests I can, when time permits.
Doing new quests (if there will be any). Waiting for new beautiful steeds and cosmetics!
"It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door. You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to."
Bilbo Baggins
As a new player in LOTRO, I will dive deep in all the quests! Oh, and I love fireworks and I heard rumors of there being some![]()
12 years....time flies.
I think I will spend the day cleaning my shoehorn collection.
"Show me the Horsey, Show me the Horsey!" Yeah, I'm going to hopefully be getting all my guys a new wonderful horse. That is, if it doesn't have a bunch of flowers sticking out of it's butt. Or if it doesn't have a pick-nick basket precariously balanced on its rump. Or if it isn't some garbage puke green moth color. Yeah, and stuff like that.
Probably catching up on some slayer deeds for steel tokens.
Scavenger Hunt!!! I LOVE this and look forward to it every year![]()
I hear the jury's still out on science...
I'll try to keep my snowy Fangorn huorn awake by firing off all the fireworks I can find in the event![]()

By building a straw man with a melon for a head to take my place at the family reunion, much like Strider did at the Prancing Pony to fool the Nazgul, so I have more time to do the event.
Anniversaries always happen at the worst possible time for me...
I'll be taking the first day off to run my favorite characters through every event, and enjoying it all while listening to all the Lord of the Rings movies' soundtracks and eating pizza with lots of mushrooms. With the occasional ale lifted in honor of the Fellowship members.
It will be glorious.
"Lotro has seen too few winters". Still has a long life and many years left. I plan on celebrating lotro's birthday with a cup of coffee and a whole pie.
By actually being able to do the anniversary quests this time (last year I was level 25 and couldn’t get to all the destinations. I died in Angmar trying to pass the Rammas Deluon)!
Can't believe it's been 12 years--can't wait to see what's in store for the next 12! I'll be celebrating by visiting all my favorite locations around Middle Earth!
With Pie! and lots of it!
Probably by doing some anniversary quests!![]()
By hanging out in Middle-earth a lot, and doing the anniversary quests. Sometimes I do hope that I could have been playing LOTRO since Day 1.
Fireworks, kites, and running DN with my kinmates on Anor
Happy dozen!
I'll sing a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday" to LOTRO, with the aid of my lute. And Moor Cowbell.
This marks the point where I've been playing LOTRO half as long as it's been around. Huh.
I've never actually played the Anniversary Event, so I'm all psyched up.
Crickhollow, Anor, and Treebeard

Doing epic quests on 1 of my 10 alts
I've actually never done the scavenger hunts, so I plan on binging and doing them all this year![]()
A tour of Middle-earth and maybe a chicken run if I can find someone to escort me.
Looking forward to reminiscing with my kinmates and friends at every Remembrance. Someday we'll take our memories into the west...
