whats happening i cant log in ? please help me old chaps

we need a little more info other than i cant logon
what errors are you seeing?
what happens when you try to logon?
have you created an account?
have you installed and patched lotro?
how long have you been having this problem?
how are you trying to access lotro? are you using your own ISP or is your internet being provided by a third party such as school, work, hotel etc?
is internet explorer offline? even if you dont use IE for your day to day use lotro requires IE to be onilne
are you using a proxy?
have tried following the steps outlined here?

i have made an account and everything its just when i go to log it is saying, login server error, the following web error occured while trying to access - https://gls-auth.lotro.com/GPS.AuthServer/Service.asmx
the underlying connection was closed: unable to connect to the remote server.
it has been sayin this after a recently re-installed th game and cant log in to my previous account or new please help
