Woo Hoo - Skirmish Beta Stress Test rescheduled for this weekend!

Thanks Sapience! (& the rest of the dev crew who turned this around so quickly!)

Tomorrow, November 20th the Bullroarer Beta Server will be brought off line from 8:00AM -12:00PM Eastern (-5 GMT) for an update to address this issue. All players who participated in the preview and were unable to access Skirmishes will be able to do so once the server comes back up Friday afternoon.

We know the experience on Tuesday night was disappointing for some of you and we appreciate your patience and assistance in tracking this issue down.

As a thank you, we will be leaving Bullroarer open and available to you for the weekend. We hope you enjoy the Skirmishes!

Be sure to check out the new combat and mounts systems too!
I knew you wouldn't let us down!

Excellent. As I expected. I suspect there have been a lot of sighs of relief at Turbine today, and that there will be a lot of fingers crossed tomorrow!

No doubt it was very big disappointment Tuesday night. Followed by a very unpleasant Wednesday and a hectic Thursday.

Congratulations on having it ready for the week end. I know this week has been very rough.

Yay!! Thank you devs! Despite my honest but harsh criticisms of you guys at times I do prefer you guys over other companies Ive played games from.

*hugs*

Re: Woo Hoo - Skirmish Beta test rescheduled for this weekend!

Just a clarification on this....

Do we need to download & install the whole beta client in order to do this? Or will we be able to access bullroarer & test out this stuff from our regular client?

Re: Woo Hoo - Skirmish Beta test rescheduled for this weekend!

Can anyone tell me if the Eyes and Guard Tavern is or will be open?

I successfully downloaded, installed and patched the client on 2 computers earlier this week, but then the character copying failed for both of my accounts

Eyes and Guard is not available for Stress Testers. Closed Beta only has access to E&G.

Re: Woo Hoo - Skirmish Beta test rescheduled for this weekend!

Apparently the previewers can start only one instance after the tutorial.

So basically we get all weekend to run one skirmish and that's it.

And if you cancel your skrimish, because you forgot to trait your soldier, or accidently startet the wrong version, your done too.

Re: Woo Hoo - Skirmish Beta test rescheduled for this weekend!

Actually a few more have opened up for me along with tiers so that makes 4 as the pony one is currently greyed out along with ofcourse the mirkwood ones.

I'll have to see after I finish all 4 if I can do again :/

*nevermind* After I did amon sul the other ones greyed out.
