Settings, Gems and Runes for Rune-keepers

Forgive me if this has been posted already, but what settings, gems and runes do you guys use on your legendary stones and bags? It seems to me that all the settings are lousy, just wondering which ones you guys think are the least lousy. Also, I could see some folks preferring tier 5 gems over tier 6 so it would be interesting to see what others think on that topic.

Thanks.

Re: Settings, Gems and Runes for Rune-keepers

Your question about the gems comes down to what's desirable - and IMHO that would be gems with ICPR and a tactical critical rating (major boost to our skills on the whole since our skills are tactical). So the gems from tier 5 (sapphire gem of the sage or sapphire gem of empowerment) would be good choices for both weapons and stachels, with the most desirable gem being The Adamant of Dreams. (If you are not worried about tactical crit, the Adamant Gem of the Moon would also be desirable.) As for the relics, most of them boost melee or ranged ratings, with nothing attached to tactical. I guess for me the most desirable relic would be the Platinum setting of Hardiness (tier 7) with the +15 vitality and +15 agility on it. As for the runes, the tier 8 runes would be most desirable.

Ambraen - Elven RK - lvl 65, Sketchy - Hobbit Burg - lvl 65,
Sulis - Elven Lore Master - lvl 61, Baptisia - Hobbit Hunter - lvl 62

Re: Settings, Gems and Runes for Rune-keepers

For your offensive sets:
Setting: Either Platinum Setting of Hardness (Tier 7), or any that increases devastate magnitude (Tier 5 Silver Setting of Longevity has +15 Vit and +2.5% Devastate and is a reasonable choice.)
Gem: Adamant Gem of Dreams (Tier 8)
Rune: Tier 6 or Tier 7 of your choice (for the decreased attack duration)

For your healing set:
Setting: Platinum Setting of Hardness (tier 7)
Gem: Tier 5 gem of your preference
Rune: Tier 8 Rune of your choice

That pretty much covers it.

Re: Settings, Gems and Runes for Rune-keepers

Setting: Endurance (Tier 1)
Gem: Adamant Gem of Dreams/Moon (Tier 8)
Rune: Either Tier 8's

Healing Stone/Sack, only thing I'd change is Gems I'd probably just settle for tier 5's.

Re: Settings, Gems and Runes for Rune-keepers

for my healing stone/satchel, both have Adamant Gem of Dreams & Ancient Rune of the Storm

dps stone/satchel, i just changed the runes to Ancient Rune of the Thunder

for settings, one my dps satchel i have a Platinum Setting of Hardiness, but im thinking of putting Silver Setting of Longevity on all of them when i get some since i really dont care for the might/agility and would rather have the devastate magnitude.

Re: Settings, Gems and Runes for Rune-keepers

Thanks for the feedback folks. I know for a lot of classes the tier 6 gems are where it's at, but I guess for us the + 10% incoming healing doesn't do much and we have better alternatives. I think the worst part is the relic grind we have to endure to equip a set for healing and a set for dps.
