Been a long time since I've seen a troll in the Moors

So imagine my surprise to run out of GV this afternoon to see one sitting there. At first I was a little intimidated. I send out a message in OCC only to hear... crickets. I was the only freep in the Moors and there was a troll at GV. Hmmm. I can only think with no freeps in the Moors, creeps were just bored out of their skulls.

Then the troll started to, well... dance. He was just Happy Feet in troll form. So what the heck, I ran out of GV and we had a great little dance party. Just me and the troll A reaver showed up, but quickly mapped (no doubt disturbed by our truce and behavior).

I was sad when we got a little too close to the one shotters though Poor troll. Later, when there actually were more freeps out, I saw my troll on his warg (sorry, drawing a blank on the name wish I wrote it down). LOL, love the way you came out of stealth and jumped around . The reason the freeps stopped attacking you was because I asked them not to hurt my dancing partner--lol.

LMAO I did to cause I just read that someone called him a real good troll....then I saw Jilla Made the thread...

I like trolls, they usually make the fights better and piss people off. I remember right before moria launched when ernik would roll one every day (usually more then once) it really gets some people angry and want to fight more, and real makes it all more fun (except there was always those who logged when they saw the troll).

Usually all the trolls now are 10 year olds that somehow got it :/

It was rather good too see. good old Opshout, it makes the creeps feel like they can run around anywhere. Its good that you put him to use, trying ot take TR was epic in a failure sense running n pulilng all the npcs lol freeps run up n see all the ncps stunned then they popped out of it n everyone died But some warg(s). so u can roll a troll anytime now coz creeps had everything but TR. and no rangers could be rolled.

Re: Been a long time since I've seen a troll in the Moors

Trolls are nothing like what they used to be. They used to deal large amounts of damage to freeps but now it feels only like a tickle. No longer are the days of the 1k hits, they now are only 200-500 with the occasional 800 crit. Unfortunately, freeps are so scared of them either due to lack of seeing them or because its been embedded in their minds of the massive damage that used to be done that they have no clue how harmless they are now.

Re: Been a long time since I've seen a troll in the Moors

I remember being in a freep raid once when a Troll was rolled to counter our assault on Lugz. The leader of the raid (name slips me) informed us all to ignore the Troll and concentrate on the other creeps. We were in the room leading into the CG room and the harmless troll kept killing us. I didn't realize what was going on until I was flying out of the keep and down the huge hill behind Lugz. It was an epic death that left me feeling a little more vulnerable to trolls in the top of keeps. Still makes me laugh when I think about it.
