now i have recently joined this game after playing EQ for 7 years and i must say its a fantastic game very similar to what i am used to but whats really frustrating is the books as others have said iam on Book 3 now rescue dori etc now not sure if its me and the times i play but brandywine server seems quite empty so getting in a fellowship to do these quests is very hard so the only option for me is to solo because i really want to enjoy the experience and not just grind like EQ was at least you could still solo your epic there until you needed pieces from the planes thats when plane time was booked by guilds but with lotro i really wish they would add an element were we could solo nothing worse than grinding through the chapter thinking "yeah" iam doing well here and then some elite chap with over 2k of health stands before you and thats it no chance so you die and all your money needs to go on repairing and the old rinse repeat factor comes in. Now i am not wanting it easy just want to be able to follow the story and enjoy the experience.

Now in the early books and chapters you would have a fellow(npc) walk through with you and assist so why not add a guildwarsy!! element where you could choose 3 npcs to assist so a npc fellowship to aid i.e a mini, fighter, ranger that kind of thing on the books only. sure that would not be hard and it would feel even though not real players but would give the sense of being part of a fellowship.

I paid for 3 months so i will see how it goes but now iam hitting 30 soon its got to the stage where its just a grind due to the books are not an option.. Apart from this love the game visually it is lotr so devs well done just tweak the system a bit.

Been playing for about four months now got a Guardian to 60 a few 20+'s joined a awesome kin on landroval the Rohirrim! But cause of the hours i work i cant do raids or groups cause at 2 am most people are sleeping,So im a soloer and love it.I love reading the story line and getting right into the story cause ima Roleplayer.My only pev was doing a bunch of quests in a line then hitting a wall cause i needed a fellowship and waiting till the quest turns grey or im 20+ levels above it to finish kills the swing of the story.

Im all paid up till the end of december but im just sooo bored of my Guardian doing the faction quests for lothlorien faction over and over and over drove me crazy.I liked doing the Battle for lorien instance but cant do it solo but was still fun cause i had npc helping me out.I came from CoH so i guess i got spolied cause its all instances and you can solo it and put up difficulty levels if you want it harder.Been trying to read about the new expansion and hear people saying you can solo the new instances with some kind of super buff or something.Is this *Buff* something that you can use anytime during the game?

Cause with my play style and time i would reroll my Guardian in a heart beat if that means i can just go through the books and quests without having to stop one for weeks.Some love to group others like to group when they feel like it but forced grouping weres thin after awhile.So any feed back would be great cause this game looks great and the comunity reminds me of the old days in EQ but cause im older now and have to work at nights my playtime isnt peakhours anymore.
