Farmland
Perhaps this post is pointless, as this might be being fixed come Mirkwood, but something has been annoying me of late.
Specifically the fact that while there are currently superior crafting facilities in both Moria and Lothlorien, you still have to go to the Shire to find superior farmland.
There's not even basic farmland in Lothlorien, at least, not that I could find...
Could some farmland please be added to at least Lothlorien, so that us poor farmers don't have to travel so far.

Re: Farmland
I think these are valid points, surely the Galadrim have to has some form of agriculture.

Well... considering there is No farm in Ered Luin (at least 1/3 of the are is Elven, the rest Dwarven), nor in Rivendell or any other place that are "Elven", I'm guessing the Devs thinks they're all just getting it from their Hobbit and Man slaves

Re: Farmland
I have no experience in farming but this seems like a very reasonable request.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
I'm still addicted to Civ II after 14 years danggit!

Re: Farmland
Particularly since our Soil of Rivendell and Soil of Lorien farm optional ingredients (a.k.a. crit widgets) are named for these locales, it makes a lot of sense to have Superior Veggie and Grain farmland in these areas (Pipe-weed farmland being lore-restricted to the Shire).

Re: Farmland
If the elves let you dig in their soil, you would learn the terrible secret of the crafting item known as "soil" of Lorien.
You don't really think the elves want you to collect poo just to play a joke against the orcs, do you?

LOL, maybe that's the reason why there are no farms there then. All those soil's been appropriated by the hobbits

Re: Farmland
I so agree with this. Please for the love of all that is Tolkien, please make some superior farmland a little more accessible. There's farmland outside Est, but it apparently sucks. I agree with the points about Rivendell and Lorien soil. Farmers don't even get superior farmland in the little area next to Michel Delving for crying out loud. Even MD would be halfway easy to get to. Hobbiton doesn't have a swift-travel from anywhere remotely accessible.
But to do ANY superior farming of ANY kind, we have to haul it from moria to riv to md or bree to hobbiton. Only people slightly less inconvenienced are hunters and/or hobbits. I could grudgingly put up with it in SoA, since the superior workbench was in Esteldin -also semi-annoying to get to unless you are an elf or hunter.
But now all superior crafting is in the main location in Moria. Gathering professions don't have to go very far for their crafts in Moria, so why in the world is there no Superior Farmland in Lothlorien?? They have a vineyard down south, but too bad they're growing it on sub-par farmland.

Re: Farmland
I haven't done much farming myself, but I can still see that this is a good point.

Re: Farmland
I actually like going to the Shire to do my farming. It's a nice break from those areas that I've been spending too much time grinding in
But, I will still /sign this anyway
