Cytoskeleton looks like Tengwar letters.
From my Biology textbook:

The "microtubules" (I guess that's what they're called) around the outside look just like Elvish Tengwar. Specifically those in Grade 5 of the Tengwar (the symbol for healing on the RK's attunement bar is one of them). I don't know if they look like the ones with lines across the top/bottom or not (they could be inverted or not, depending on which way you look at them).
Yes, this was a completely and totally automatic reaction. It's probably strange that I automatically think of Tengwar when I see them, yet I don't know what sounds any of the Tengwar represent, other than the RK healing one is "n" for nestad - healing. I even made a full-page drawing of the Doors of Durin complete with all of the writing (not traced - copied by hand), yet I still can't read it. I am too nerdy, yet not nerdy enough.
Anyway, Tengwar in a cell's cytoskeleton! NEAT!

No, I don't. But the textbooks are used all over the state, so it's not strange we have the same one. At least tell me if you live in California or not.
EDIT: You realize there's probably more than one school with those initials. It's a California textbook. (But maybe the same publisher makes similar books in other states too.)

Ya, i asumed you probably didnt go to the same school, it was just interesting that we were using the same book on the same unit (maybe same chapter, im not sure), and yea I realize theres probably more than 1 school called AHS, and that was my mistake, Oh well, it would've been cool if we did happen to go to the same school, but it was just a coincidence.

Well that picture is from Chapter 7 Section 2 (page 181).
Anyway, let's not turn the forums into Facebook and instead let's drool over how awesome it is that this cell's cytoskeleton looks like Tengwar!!1!!eleven

...one cytoskeleton to rule them all, and with its protein, bind them?
The smallest mimes of the gods of snow do not wish at all in their life that the great duty of the defences of the wine be diminished.

Re: Cytoskeleton looks like Tengwar letters.
So, instead of seeing the Virgin Mary in pancakes, Tolkienists see Tengwar in cells. Cool.
“All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”
