Time for an update! House of Elders has been busy exploring some of the most exciting places in Moria.
Not too long ago, we killed the Blind One.
We also killed the Mistress, completing the clear of Dar Narbugud.
And of course, we still visit our old buddy Nornuan from time to time and the Watcher keeps dying.
A belated happy birthday to our fearless leader Linwe!
And last but certainly not least, a hearty HoE congratulations goes out for the birth of Mobaar Grablansovalchik, Jr.

Grimgarnath here, just wanted to let everyone know HoE is currently looking for Minstrels, RK's, and Burg's. We're doing well in DN, Running 2 full clears a week, and picking on the watcher about 4-6 times a week. Sprinkle in some Filikul, and you've got a recipe for raiding fun! If you see me on, send a tell if you would like info or just to chat. Or, feel free to stop by our website and put in an app. While we have low recruitment priorities for classes not mentioned above, I encourage all classes to apply. we never know when we might suddenly be short on a certain class type. Greetings all! The mighty Grimgarnath is back on board as officer, and HoE is getting ready for F2P by opening recruitment for captains, guardians, rk's, burgs, and lm's. We have well over 20 HM lt. kills and still no mat, I've been trying to save all the kittens from Oasimir's face punches, but it is a constant battle. Send me an in-game tell or check out our webpage, www.houseofelders.net for more info. Always remember, when all else fails, blame Peldir.
As a side note, HoE and co will be putting togethor a server wide contest in the coming weeks, offering some pretty good loot, check back with us soon for more details.
We finally got the mat to drop for us after 24+ HM kills.

This post is to thank Erolas, who just stepped down from the leader position after over a year at the helm, and Linwe, who just stepped up to that position. In the time Erolas was leader we added many new members, and mastered much new content (see above).
This will be Linwe's second time as leader of House of Elders. We are all very grateful for her willingness to serve in what is the most demanding job in the kin, along with the raid leaders. Thanks to you all! And here is to many more boss kills in the hardest content in the game!

Can you name all the mounts in this screenshot? I sure can't, but I'm pretty sure Konric's mount is Sweetberry from My Little Pony.

House of Elders has arrived in Ost Dunhoth! Just a few days after the initial opening of the zone, we successfully completed the Challenge of the Tier 2 Disease Wing.
A Gladden Server first.
We were also the first Gladden kin to defeat the Tier 2 Wound Wing, beating it for the second time tonight. Congratulations to Lavi and Aldebaran on the Western Heroes Gauntlets Medallions, Dagthir and Rechora on the Western Heroes Boots Medallions, and Mikor and Linwe on the Symbols of the Elder King!
This has been quite a team effort, with lots of members contributing to the development of strategies on Bullroarer and here on Gladden. Great job all!
Tonight House of Elders conquered the Tier 2 Poison Wing. Our wily strategy involved the dps machine known as Snowflake and sacrificing an elf to ensure our victory.
Congratulations to Penlethir on the Western Heroes Shoulder-guards medallion! I would complain about the junk purple caster earring with zero morale that no one wanted if not for the symbol drop. Congratulations Sibelius on the Symbol of the Elder King! That almost makes up for the bugged challenge mode chest from the Disease wing this week.
House of Elders is the first kin on Gladden to conquer the Ost Dunhoth Poison Wing Tier 2 Challenge. Huzzah!
It is difficult to imagine a fight requiring more concentrated effort from all 12 raiders. This was a great challenge and lots of folks contributed to developing, testing and perfecting our strategy.
Congratulations to Linwe and Aldebaran on their new shoulders and to Sandbur on the Symbol and Maethathol. Hey Sandbur, nice axe! /whistle
House of Elders is currently looking for a few more players to fill out some roles. With rumors of upcoming 24-man/elf/hobbit/dwarf content this might be a great time to get started working with and getting to know the membership. We are open to reviewing any class but have a noted need for Guardians, Wardens, Burglars, Captains, Minstrels, and Rune-Keepers.

We are primarily looking for a burglar, captain, warden or guardian to add to our current raid force. Other classes are also welcome to apply. If you are looking for an active raiding kin, talk to an officer in game or visit our website at www.houseofelders.net.
House of Elders is having a great time downing Draigoch twice a week but we are running out of people to give loot to. That's where you might come in! At this time we are currently looking for all good players that can proudly and honorably wear the HoE tag. Particularly we are interested in Wardens/Guards, so you'd get extra special attention

Well we've been progressing at a steady pace through the new content with a couple of T2 Lightning wins. Sure wish the Devs would work out the bugs on the other wings, but I can respect the complexities of game programming. We have had an ample supply of new members and right now we are thinking of restricting recruitment down to Wardens/Guards so we can minimize the number of sitters during raids. We always keep our door open to any recruits but at this time the scrutiny will be high for non-tanks.
House of Elders is having great raid attendance but we would like to see one or two more Lore-Masters at raid time. If you think you have the skills then step on up.
HoE is currently recruiting for a few good tanks, Champs, LMs, and Hunters. We would also consider other classes if your skills are up to endgame content. Please contact Satyivahn or post and app using one of the links in the previous posts. Currently we are working on farming the Isengard content with our eye set on Saruman.
We are currently looking to add a Guard, Minstrel, Captain, Burglar, or Champion to our ranks (we have lots of alts to shift around and make awesome raid groups). If you are ready for the challenge then drop off an application. As always, we will look at all applications for other classes in the search for high quality players.
