So i am just throwing this out there but anyone else who has attempted Flight lonely mountain raid think its a bit op? Constant wave after wave of elite mobs coming at you with archers with Rain of arrow skills, mobs that can drop HoT skills that heal 1500-ish hp of the easterlings or on tier 2 dropping damage over time pools that do alot of damage even to the heavy classes. I dont know hoping to hear some opinions of the raid from others who have done it.
I don't participate in BR playing. But what you wrote reminds me very much of the first impressions on the "Edge of Fangorn" instance on lvl 75.
"What the heck, the trolls in Edge of Fangorn hit like a train doing 20.000 damage with one shot. How should you survive that …" I guess there is something tricky but special about the instance as well instead of just to run in and beat the heck out of everything you see.
On the other hand the first pulls in ToO Fire & Frost where kinda hard to too and they were supposed to be that way. Well, I'm exited. Keep us informed about what you maybe found out please.
Did it yesterday on L20. In ~3 minutes spawn about 100 enemies. The rest of time ist just survival. For T2C the goal is to kill 100 enemies. The key will be to find out which types of mobs do which buff/debuff, and further the order to kill them.
have to agree it seams alittle crazy specially as some of the waves can have 20-30 mobs in and the archers are like bad hunters who dont follow raid assist targets randomly hiting who they want regardless of agro i got hit a few days ago ina t1 run by a hs off of an archer that deved me for 13k i do like the fact they basicly use our own skills against us but its alittle to much
also like to add the puddles mentioned do not scaled they do exsactly the same damage / healing at any lvl
tried the lvl 20 version with about 6 guys last night we got lag wiped. From what I could see the scaling is certainly broken and there are way too many mobs for sure. If they keep it this way you will need 4 tanks, 4 champs, 2 caps, and 2 healers or just 12 wardens to get it done. beyond that the number of adds seemed to create a lot of lag issues very much like an amun sul skraid. otherwise there is some requirement like don't let them sound the warning or something we are missing.
WARNING: leveling a warden may cause you to neglect your other characters.
I tried this in a pug a few days ago (before the 2nd BR update that put armor sets and such in), and we wiped repeatedly on the first pull. While it's possible that there's something buggy with it (OP enemies or something), I suspect it's just a matter of getting down the right order to kill things. There's always a trick.
Ended up doing this with my kin we attempted 85 tier 2 but couldn't get it down, we did 85 tier 1 and beat it after figuring out the mechanics of the fight. I do say that the mechanics are very interesting and once you figure them out you will probably laugh but anyways the fight is a fun fight and when you know what to do it makes it even more fun. I won't give any spoilers to the mechanics but if you pay attention you can probably figure it out.
spoil in pms, since others don't share your beliefs.
That hobbit you just called fat? He's skipping 2nd breakfast.
The dwarf woman you called ugly? She spends hours braiding her beard so you can differentiate her from a dwarf man.
The Uruk-Hai you just killed? he's been abused by Saruman.
See that Gollum creature with the gangly limb and large eyes? For 500 years the ring poisoned his mind.
That elf you just made fun of for crying? She just lost her wizard friend to a Balrog.

I thought this raid was bugged when I try it, I try it on T1, my group make up was 1 warden, 1 guard, 1 hunters, 3 rk, 2 champs, 1 Burg, 2 mini and a capt that was traited for heals. The poison clouds was bigger than the area it was suppose to be at.
