I played for several hours today and had no problem questing in the low level areas(the most populated), each time I logged in I had a queue of no more than 5 and quickly jumped in and continued questing.
Most of my MMOs I played on Medium to low level servers, on purpose I chose a higher pop server so there was never a shortage of people. So far its been the right decision.
THIS sereve ha an estreme amoint of peopl on it thoughout the day andd it should be sddressed when you are trveling alonve it is very difficult tofind cratured kill somthing should be donde to fi this.
Sorry you feel that way, but the game just launched. Once people have a chance to spread out more, it'll be better - however if you're THIS impatient now you may want to reroll on a lesser server that doesn't have so many people.
I have never had an issue with the population of Brandywine...we are awesome!
Murdernickle tells you, "You are the herka to my dur, buddy..."
Personally I thought there would be more people running around getting in my way then I have so far seen. I think it all depends on where you go and how you play. There are quite a few people in the main towns and roads, but if you get off of the main path a bit then there are plenty of things to kill and loot.
While my esteemed opponent may be pushing for limiting the number of children each family may have, I can promise that my platform is built upon a person's right to choose however many little alts they want running around in this Middle Earth.

Bree will ALWAYS be heavily populated. Its essentially our central point for crafting, meeting with lowbies and high level toons. Its the social gathering town.
As far as the server being overpopulated. Its not. It seems that way simply b/c everyone's currently in the same close level ranges right now. Give it 2 weeks things will spread out more as the hardcore folks outpace the casual folks and the level ranges gain wider gaps.

no offense or anything but that took way to much effort to decipher
come on guys i do tire of people talkin about our server being over populated when its really not..you guys have to realize this is launch week and like one other said in another post just wait for this weekend.... guys if you continue to complain about server being over populated lol as i experienced in another game i won't spell it out lol (WoW) they will be force to split the server and who wants a server split this early? i know i don't so lets just wait it out..and see how things calm down..
and if they don't calm down..haha we only have more hell to deal with when summer time comes up due to all the lil kiddies being out of school and with nothing to do...

I'd rather be on an overpopulated server than an underpopulated one.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently. - Friedrich Nietzsche
And that sucks, cause I hate people who have nothing better to do than complain. That's the world we live in there, people are impatient, stuck up, and whiners. They we're coddled when they were young and the real world smacked them in the face when they got here.
/e end rant
Sorry guys, it's before noon and I'm grumpy in the morning.
"Jock rock my ***! Listen to those lyrics, man. That song's about love, and longing... Yes.... and hobbits."
I rather enjoy a full server. Finding a fellowship is easier, selling items in the AH is faster more items in the AH to buy. Never really had issues with people camping out quest mobs or items sure there could be a wait but most players are kind enough to ask who's next when waiting for a mob or item to respawn. Bree might be alittle overcrowded but I have fun listing to people play the lutes then a crowd gathers around to listen is a big social thing. In fact thats where I meet my old Marine buds when we play, we all head to Bree and shoot the &@^%, and talk sense it's cheaper then a phone call and air fare. Thats whats MMO's are all about so enjoy it.

The sight of you is like a donkey kicking me in the who-ha, painful yet oddly pleasurable.
Unfortunately, I agree with the OP. Sorry and I hope I didn't offend anyone by agreeing with him
We hope that the population will spread out, but there is something to be said when you go into the Old Forest and there are a dozen or more people all trying to kill wolves. Yes, yes we should all group up I know.
The point I am trying to make is that there is no place in Brandywine where I can take my character to in order to urinate without being seen. Get what I mean? Will the population spread improve? Maybe, but new people continue to sign up....

Thanks!
Yes it will spread out. Once you start into the 30's there is alot more grouping involved so there are less random guy running a quest dealies.
I am what Willis was talkin' about! Landbeck and Landybuns, forever a mismatched pair. 'Wino since the first day

I hope you are right. I have never had lag in the game until last night. I was in Bree and running around just fine earlier in the day, but around 8pm my time, I went back there to try to do something quest related and I could not move more than 3 or 4 steps without freezing up. The place was packed!
It was frustrating, not just because of the lag, but the thought that I might have to role on another server. I am a people person and I love being on a popular server, but my connection sucks. /cry

1 - People will spread out to other servers.
2 - People will leave the game after 30 days cause it's not their cup of tea and will free up capacity.
My only wish was that you could actually see the population levels. It's either heavy or not. It would be nice to see, yeah, this one is getting up there or that one is really not populated at all.
