So you brought your third character up to level cap and are wondering what to do with the other 7?
What about that crafting alt that finally broke lvl 20 because of the new crafting experience?
What can a person on Riddermark do if that like playing there alts but have no desire to have them all be level capped?
How can you help your kin and others play all the great LOTRO group content on level?
The Answer:
With the release of the xp disabler and a few extra alts members of the Riddermark can "Lock" in characters at what ever levels they choose. Off course you have to level up to that level but once you are there you can play that character as much as you want and they will stay there. You can get your virtues maxed for that level, get the best armor, weapons and Jewelry and replay those old instances like the good old days.
Myself and a few other in our kin (Order of the Morning Star) have decided to "Lock" characters at various levels to help and play content with others as they level up. The levels I plan to use are 25, 35, 42, 50, 60, 65, 75, and maybe 85 when it is no longer lvl cap.
Obviously individuals can use any level character they want to run old instances but it is not the same as running it with people right around your level. Some people are already doing this on Riddermark and you are more than welcome to join.
I like the idea, but since the XP disabler is character bound and not Account wide, to cap all that levels you'd need to spend 3500 tps. That's too much in my opinnion. Turbine always makes us pay too much for stuff...
You really think they are going to increase the level cap from 85? I dont know of any mmo that goes over 85. if they do, well then its safe to say ill never be at endgame
Our kin has taken a similar route. We formed another kin which is exclusively for SoA content. Ie level 50 cap and no RKs or Wardens. Since the LI system was not part of Shadows of Angmar, we will not be using legendary items. While not set in stone, we are considering going a quest gear/loot drop gear only route to make it more of a challenge.
We've only just started, so only time will tell how it works out. However I'm looking forward to playing all the SoA content on-level.

That is exactly kind of the kinship I am looking for, if you are inviting new players, I am up to join your ranks

As this posted has generated some requests from players I, nor any of the kin, are familiar with I would like to inform everyone that we are currently not following an "open recruitment" policy. All members of this kin are only brought in via personal invitation from officers within the kin. This is not because we want to be elitist, but because we enjoy the casual environment we get from playing with the friendly group of players we enjoy playing with on a regular basis. (Translation: We've had bad experiences with immature, childish players. So we don't want to let in anyone and everyone.)
I apologize if I have mislead anyone in my previous post.

WoW's cap was 90 when I quit last year, and another game I used to play had a 150 cap.
I'm not worried about capping all my chars here in Middle Earth, however. I'm enjoying all my characters equally.
