Actions speak louder than words. If people want them to come back they need to help change the current landscape of the moors to one more enjoyable. Obviously there's nothing we can do to change the way OPs operate, etc, but there are some things that we as players can do to make the moors a more enjoyable environment for everyone.
I don't know Arrik and Nim personally very well, but I'm guessing if they come back because people ask them to and find the same stuff that made them get fed up in the first place still happening... well, I'll leave the rest to those that care enough to consider this proposition.
the way brandywine fb page is sounding, SDV may return to it's former glory. old sop - sdv coverage......brings back fun memories. may have to find ss from getting spider &&&&& back then <3
I do miss it but ya know its just not worth it anymore.
The lag limits everything you can do as a leader. Can't use keeps when needed, can't push them when you have the upper hand. Can't fight anywhere near lag lines, or even a decent amount of npc's. Op's are &&&& most of the time. With the rez circles where they are that limits space to fight even more. So that leaves a few desolate spots and gv hill for the most part. That's not fun to lead, thats repetitive and boring. Bring the 50+ creeps, but I don't care if Napoleon and Tzun Tzu had a butt baby together he would not even be able to work with that.
And if you do actually fight in one of those no-no spots then you usually deal with depressing skill lag and a plethora of different bugs. The raids I have been in where I am not even leading I can't stay in because I feel downright useless. Before I could use a 2 hander and harass and maybe even scare the &&&& out of/kill some priority targets and then quick switch and shield wall who needed it. Now I'm lucky if I can even get my shield out by the time they are dead. How is that worth my time?
I could go on for days about the other balance issues and flaws...but lotro has always been messed up like that but it was still great. You know why everyone is such a d-bag these days? You can't actually get any enjoyment from this game from within anymore, only when you know the other side is pissed off do you feel any ounce off accomplishment. How can you when slowly but surely they are making everyone a clone and not fixing any of the real problems that need to be fixed.
One of the few things I do enjoy though is some peoples absolute misunderstanding of the other side. In isen all I ever heard were how creeps were so terrible and if we knew what we were doing we wouldn't hide in TA all the time and there would be good fights. Most nights freeps had more than a raid out, probably not working together but is sure felt like it sometimes lol. Alot of the creeps that suffered with me I thought had a broad spectrum and knew how the game worked and could tell when something was op.
Well I was wrong, and now its complete reverse. Creeps putting on the thick a** goggles just like freeps did in isen. Justifying it with excuses such as...
-"well they did it to us', well most of them are on their creeps and in your group now dumba**
-"they are just bads and pu**ies" then I suppose all the creeps that played in isen were too cause its pretty much the exact same thing if not worse than that
So my basic assumption of why this pvp is bad... most of you are complete point grubbing &&&&&& bags that have one way of looking at things/get more enjoyment out of being an a**clown than actually playing. O and the updates have just been fantastic as of late
But hey if we had real pvp with epic battles still I don't think that would be the case so don't take it to hard guys
And hey I'm sure as hell biased too, but I keep it to myself (except for this lovely thread)
In essence try to look at the other sides point of view, maybe even try it out before you run your mouth. And enough with the personal insults, cause at the end of the day we are all butt chined Mcdonald working basement living people with 3 inch d***s right?

That really is worth repeating. You can't really say, "well now they know how the creeps felt" because most people play both sides and the true baddies switch to whichever side spews forth points the easiest (I'm looking at you, rank 10 BA that I never heard of before 3 weeks ago).
I will say that the nights where lag is not unbearable the fights have been fun and challenging for freeps. Balance has drastically improved in my opinion as far as groups and raid fights are concerned. I do miss shield walling little Nimfae though.
