Clover, you've been nothing short of fantastic. I guarantee that you'd have a ton of references here from us forum folk. You'll be missed. A ton. *huge hugs*
I also sincerely hope that us as a player base will keep in mind that this will also be rough on those who remain and cut our lovely blue names some slack over the next few days. They'll be hurting, too.
Oh wow, that sucks. Sorry to see you go, Clover, and everyone else who is leaving. Best of luck finding a job elsewhere.
Quite so. Good luck with the job search, may this turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Having been fired after 20+ years (as part of several hundred people) because the company closed a facility and moved it to another state, I empathize with you. All the best your way.

Such sad news! But please do not let worries overcome you! With your talent, dedication, smartness, brightness, general level of awesomeness and kindness you will find a new opportunity in no time. It will be a great adventure and you will wonderful in new role.
Much sympathy to you and all others affected. Layoffs are a truly horrendous thing, and you will be sorely missed on these forums. May luck follow you into your next venture.
Layoffs suck, and the company should be ashamed. People need jobs or people no pay your bills. Disgusting all anybody cares about now is the bottom line.

Wishing all the best to Clover, the other 399 and all the other employees as well. You will be missed but to qoute this guy I read once..."The Road goes ever on..." Good Luck!

I believe it said Turbine has 400 employees and there was no word yet on how many of those 400 were laid off.
Really awful timing on WB's part. Whatever the reason was for the layoffs, from a purely PR perspective people are absolutely going to think that these layoffs are a direct result of RoR's poor performance (regardless of how it has actually performed), which is a good way to hurt future sales.
It was interesting that a few minutes before Account Management opened up the phone lines for telephone support, Turbine announced that phone support would not be available today. Phone support would resume at the regular 10 AM Eastern opening time on Friday.
The phone lines close early at 4 PM, on Monday October 29, 2012 instead of the normal 9 PM.
