Thread: I bought items from the LOTRO Store..

I bought cosmetic items from the LOTRO Store that are bind to account. The thing is I deleted the character I used to buy the items and I'm wondering how I'll receive my items for the new character I'll be making?

Hope you put them in your shared vault / wardrobe... otherwise, you've just deleted them. Bind to account does not mean that each character you create will have another "copy" of the same item, it just means you can move them from character to character on your account using shared storage.

Oh dear..Ok, I wish Turbine made that clear as I've just lost my items!

when you delete a character you lose everything in that person's vault and bags, any equipped items, and non-shared items in your wallet including your money.

You keep all the things in your shared vault, house containers, and mail from the deleted person to your other character will survive as well.

The only way to get the money is mail (or trade to a friend method).

You may be able to undelete the character with a ticket to turbine. I do not know. Or they may be able to verify the issue and return your items to you. They tend to be friendly about anything that involves actual money spent, and in their world, TP == $$
