erm sno actually disappeared for months when he said so just stating that fact, and raeka hasnt been out in the moors dont know why, but we are working on shadow tier 2 challenge, we basically beat it but wiped at 18k with 32ecs to spar on challenge.

Roudy she might be one of them star-huggers (or as Zulu and Syc said she might just be focusing on PvE right now). But I do know people who stopped PvP after they got like 1,800 ratings, it's pretty sad but that's how some people are.

Too many good players stop playing when they reach a high rating. I don't know what purpose rating serves, but it seems to be having a negative impact on PvP.
rating is suppose to give at least per star 1% extra renown nothing to gain really out of it, on syc im staying at 1900's lately sometimes 1800's and then sometimes 2k naturally, but i really odnt have a problem since im a burg to do so.

Well while that is true, sometimes players that are about to stop PvP want to have the stars as a last touch for their freep/creep career. :P

no hunter would even get close if i was there, but have dumb isp issues, but be warned on my return....unless u get it and ditch before I come back then i would be be warned less

It's funny, they're removing the mechanic that grants more inf/reknown per kill of a higher rated player. Instead, they're transferring that mechanic to ranked players. The higher rank, the more reknown you give. Rating will still be there, but purely cosmetic.

If they are really doing that for RoR, that would be an awesome concept. I remember soloing a r7 warg on Jonp one time and only getting like 86 renown (warg must have had a low rating). I definitely agree that renown should be based off of rank and not rating. Some of the best freeps/creeps on this server have mediocre ratings.
