all i will say is that reaver is a completley diffrent situation (being simply underpowered and not fundmentally flawed) than hunter. RoR beta suggests they have been brought up to speed with other creep and freep classes.
hunters are fine in idea. yes a few changes wouldn't hurt, but they are fine. its all about finding a set up that works for you. me i figured out a few ways to make the reavers current set up work. it is not great but i have fun and it does work, same with any class. the biggest problem with hunts IMO is as follows,
Noobs see the Basic diffaculty marker, play it, cant figure it out, QQ constantly about it.

Not sure what class you play, but I dont see how there is any "find your own setup" thing for the hunter. You have 2 options: blue line, or red line. Everything else is exactly the same; stack agility, and the other choices you make legendary-wise or whatever hardly affect you at all.
No, the class is not basic; in fact, the description used to be moderate until Turbine decided to dumb-down the class. But it is boring, as we cant do much besides spam pen shot to be effective.
Hopefully Lendas's new thread will be an interesting read and make us all think about what the class could be. Meanwhile I have to figure out this new acrobatics build for my thief that Fuzion came up with...

yeah yellow is useless. but i was not talking traits. i was reffering to how you use what you have. so skill rotations, weapons, precombat preperations, how you use traps, useing oils and chants, ect.

not even blue and red line are diffrent. play them both..... see the diffrence?
there is none.
you use same 3-4 skills.... faster in blue
still hit 2-3 buffs.... more in blue.
there really is no playstyle diffrence (when compared to other classes) between red/blue/yellow.... you still rely on penshot/SB/quickshot for all your needs.
to play hunter to best effect now, you have to juggle needful haste (3 focus cost), burn hot, now hunters art ( 1focus cost) and in blue line Fleetness (6 focus cost).
to play hunter to best effect you have to expertley time your beneath notice to not die
to play hunter to best effect you have to take a 6 (10 post RoR) step pre-to-attack process to get max damage out of combat....
current Hunter is the easest to play badly, and the hardest to play well.
after Reborn, it will be be easy to play OK and will take skill/practice to master, but not something out-of-reach of casual players.
It is not impossible to do well with current hunter, but it is impossible and fankly insane to call the class "basic" when you compare how complex our play is at level cap compared to the other basic classes. I play a lvl 75 guard in the moors, and i will tell you that as a casual with &&&& gear i can hold my own VS some creeps, lose more than win, but have a good fight and give them a run for their money in a simple playstyle way.
but honestly: Hunter is more complex to play well (especially in the moors) than a warden, which i also have one.

everything in the release THIS WEEKEND!
Yes, you are correct that blue is the same as red.
But...
You are assuming everyone at the Turbine developement will implement your changes. No matter how constructive or well thought out your ideas are, I HIGHLY doubt that they will implement even 25% of your ideas to the game, if any. Thats why I said that it will be an interesting read. If I come back here sometime after RoR and find they did everything you said to do, I will delete my GW2 characters and uninstall it.
And yes, the hunter is quite complex to play. You can ask most anyone from Silverlode and if they know me they will tell you that I was one of the most competent hunters out there, 1v1 and otherwise. But the only thing that is really challenging about it is the mouse turning, which isnt anything unique to the hunter. Sure there is some timing on skills and rotations but I really cant tell you how to do that because it becomes a habit after playing for so long. But I bet if you watched how good hunters play and

Agreed. And yet, with Graalx2 apparently taking over as Hunter dev... it does look like he pays attention to the forum discussions. Think about the changes announced for RoR:
- Increased Split Shot radius
- Attack removed from Hunter's Art, and Focus cost lowered
- More self-healing
- Ways to lower real (not perceived) threat
- Bright Campfire given greater utility
- Blindside usable on the move
That covers the majority of discrete items (not fundamental changes) that Hunter players have been clamoring for. If Lendas' thread gets the community generating some good ideas, I actually have hope that it'll register on Graalx2's radar. ('Course I tend to be stupidly optimistic sometimes.)
will be reported if degrading to the thread (this will be a mature and serous feedback thread)
who is trolling?
my commentary will be heartfelt opinions about how the changes will effect the class, the pictures will be emphazizing(sorry about that one)my points. they will not be for trollign and degrading.

wow...... may need to wait till tomarrow to read........
hum.... also need to find more serious pics, most of what i have is for trolling...... need to find some more respectable pics..........
Lendas, you said that a hunter is the easiest class to play badly at cap. Utterly wrong. Ever been in a group with a warden who doesn't know how to tank...?
