Thread: Crickhollow: The Last Homely House Party on September 15th at 1pm EDT

We're taking over the Last Homely House as though Elrond has gone away for the weekend. Elves and hobbits, men and yes, even dwarves of all levels are invited to join us for a day of music and events that the whole crowd can enjoy. Hunters will be on hand to port players from every corner of Middle-earth. We invite players from all servers to join us on Crickhollow to join in a day of great fun and amazing prizes.

Weatherstock performers The Breakfast Club will lead us off with a set of music the whole crowd can dance to.

Next, talented performers will have a chance to wow the crowd during our Variety Show. Only 6 spots are available, so the contest begins before the party with our search for the best performers. The show is open to entrants from any server, so if you think you have a good act send a PM to me on the forums or send in-game mail to Rosalie. I'll chose the acts that I believe will be the most unique and entertaining. The Variety Show will have the best prizes of the day, so come up with something good!

We'll move over to the Hall of Fire for a Riddle Game, with a prize for the best guesser. Then we will take over the entire house for a massive match of Hiders and Seekers.

It will all be capped off with a fireworks spectacular (back outside, of course--we may be taking over the house, but we don't want to wreck the place).

This will all take place on Saturday, September 15th at 1pm EDT (server time)/17:00 GMT/19:00 CEST/10am PDT. You don't want to miss this one.

We're still accepting entrants for our Variety Show. Second Breakfast will be providing transportation to Rivendell, so do not worry about being too low in level. Simply listen to GLFF or regional alerts in the starter areas starting at 12:30pm EDT to find out how to get a lift to the party. Performers from other servers are more than welcome to start a character on Crickhollow to compete in the Variety Show or any of other games that day, or even just to join in the merriment.

Once again, send mail in-game to Rosalie with a description of your act, or a PM here on the forums. The deadline is 12:30pm EDT (server time) on Saturday, half an hour before the party starts. I will be choosing the acts that I believe will have the highest entertainment value, but I encourage any and all entries.

Performers will have roughly 3 minutes to wow the crowd. The winners will be chosen by the audience and the prizes (which will be announced very soon) will be spectacular. Don't pass up the opportunity just because you believe your act won't be chosen--you never know what might catch my fancy.
