Thread: What is the command code to create a skill button to release my Rune of Restoration?

Hi guys,

What is the command code to create a skill button to release my Rune of Restoration? This helps when I don't want my Rune to aggro any pathing mobs. I did it once but have forgotten how to do it. Thanks in advance for the help!

you can always select your rune, right click and "Dismiss"

Not sure if there is a hotkey for this.

/pet release all

just type "/shortcut 1 /pet release all" and it should place it on your first quickslot.
(do note that this will also dismiss skirmish soldiers, if one is active)

it's a good idea btw. I'll probably put it on my own RK as well...

EDIT: not sure whether it's /pet release or /pet release all (one could be for selected pets only, and the one you are looking for would probably be the one that doesn't require selection. just try them both and see how they work)

I did a /help on it a few days ago since the question came up, and there's a little more information in there now. Using /pet release instead of /pet releaseall will release the currently-targeted pet. If no pet is targeted behavior is inconsistent--I had hoped it would be last summoned, but I had a few test cases where that did not seem to be the case. If you only have your rune of restoration summoned, either will work.

Makes me wonder what "/pet aggressive" would do when the Rune of Restoration is selected.
