So im sure most of us pvpers have read the dev diary on the moors changes by now, and im wondering, as freeps have another 10 levels work on, new gear sets and all that jazz, how many of you will return to the ettenmoors?
Currently creeps>freeps in numbers, -youve all seen the ON buff so much more frequently lately- And these changes are trying to encourage newer pvp folk to carry on pvping. So who will get to the new cap, and return to the moors, will any of you leave? and to any pve folk reading this, will you be joining the freeps?
@ Creepside, how many of you will stay/leave, will the changes affect your decision? OR is your mind already made up? post a comment and let us know!
from what i see from beta you could essentially level -if your an average full time player- around 2-3 levels within a a day or 2, so it shouldn't take to long, maybe on the first toon itl take a while.
Originally I was going to be playing GW2 but since my PC started having issues I won't be. Video card overheats and crashes my computer when I try to play so F it...
As for lotro...
I'll be around but I don't know what I'll be doing. I have a lot of vacation time I still have to burn so if I happen to take it I may end up leveling if I take time off with in a month or so of the xpac. If I don't level I might play a bit of creep...but with comms/audacity I doubt it.
Only time will tell. Like I said I'll be around either way.

If Freeps can still one-shot Creeps (see Askir's screen shot in the other thread!) I'll call it a write off and just play the main game. If they make things closer to balanced? I'll stick around.

hard to say but hopefully game will improve and get a little more exciting and balanced. I've been here this long why stop now?
looking forward to changes and new moors. Don't mess my hair up.
Good question, but I'm stayin'...GW2 doesn't impress me and I like PvMP, and it only looks like they are actually trying to do something for once, we'll see. It is what it is and I'll be around.
I hope you're right. Never had it happen to me, but I've taken my share of 80% damage hits. If anyone's still hitting >50% target morale in a single hit after the update (either side) against an on-level target, I'll still consider it severely broken.
I'm gonna try to stay around, IF I get back to playing regularly. I do have every intention of retiring my LM when she hits rank 12 though, which looks like will be sometime around Christmas at this rate.

That other game you mentioned is much less graphic intensive than LOTRO on the lowest settings... it's not even running DX10.
The moors will die for 1-2 months while the freeps go run the new dungeons to get their new gear and get to the level cap.
I have been a dedicated creep player for a long time.
I work long hours and I don't have the time to devote to leveling freeps to the new cap and getting all new gear.
What it means for me is that I will probably not play for several months again until things pick up.
I just don't have the time to do the freep grind anymore.

Even if it is less graphic intensive then lotro I still lag 10x worse in GW2 as well as get a screen flicker...then my computer shuts down because it got over heated.
In lotro I'll get the occasional flicker but nothing beyond that. My computer has issues that I don't care to get fixed. If the computer was in working condition I believe I could run GW2 fine.
