Clearing my deed log and got 1 left in Helegrod and its to complete the quest Beast of snow in the Giant Wing. unfortunately i cant seem to complete this. Ive been in there solo, in FS and in Raid, at various levels and the quest just will not update, it stays on 0/12 from start to finish despite killing many of the snowbeasts needed. Ive filled a ticket but they cant do anything with it not being a known issue, so was wondering if anyone else had come across this as a bug. Filling a bug report at the moment.
Have you tried completing the deed with the instance set to your character or higher?
A number of the instance deeds will not advance if the instance is too low a level. In some cases, there is no rhyme or reason for instance deeds and quests. Helegrod is one cluster that is all over the place. Back when the level cap was 65, you could get coins for the Helegrod armor by taking a full group of 65s in Drake Wing at level 50. Doing quests "Fangs for Nothing". Some of the other wings did not allow you to complete the quests in this situation.
I am pretty sure that I've gotten my red seal on several characters killing the snow beasts in Giant Wing when the level cap was 65. Our kin was running the instance at level 65 and most of the group was level 65 characters.
It is always possible that the deed is broken at the moment. It is not unusual to find content that used to work. It is not working any more. You have to bug it. Wait for it to be fixed. Fortunately, the percentage of content Turbine breaks is very small. Very small is of little comfort if you want to complete that one broken piece of content.

Must admit the one level ive not tried is 70+ so yeah you could be right i guess, and i could understand that if it was a slayer deed but quests usually update. Ill try and grab a few people to come with me now to try it on lvl
Yep that works cheers. Not sure why i didnt think of that myself, probably thought it wouldnt be the same of slayer deeds as it is a quest, but ah well. Time for hunt for more people
