Thread: turbine hates hunters???

so most of you have more then not seen this

for thoes who havnt its basicly saying if u have brought a premium mount with the launch of RoR u will get a matching outfit with it. so if u have brought say a class steed like champion or the runekeeper or the gaurdian steed of the night. ok cool right? well why all the class steeds but NOT the hunter steed? does turbine hate hunters so much they class the steed of the hunter under all the other classes?

anyone els think this is unfair or just me?

If there's anything I'm sure of, it's that this is an intentional slight against Hunters!

OK, sure, the fellowship tends to poke fun at Hunters, but where would we be without them?

Who will be there to drop an epic Devastating Heartseeker onto the boss, right before the tank charges in?

Who will break the Loremaster's 30-second dazes, then stun the NPC with a lame melee attack for 5 seconds to make up for it?

Who will Desperate Flight out of harm's way right after pulling two groups of mobs?

This game wouldn't be the same without Hunters!

I'm guessing that it's a work in progress. There will likely be a sale or announcement before RoR comes out for the other classes. Honestly, they'll probably have some much fancier war steed cosmetics come out after the release, so I really wouldn't worry too much about current cosmetics. BTW, wardens don't even have a steed.

You are lacking information.

They said in their twitter and other sources (don't feel like finding them) that all class steeds and the steed of the night will include the "outfit" for the war-steed.

I don't know where you get that "turbine hates hunters" and that "all class steeds but NOT the hunter steed". They said that hunter and burglar steed "outfits" were not ready for the demonstration that we see in the rohan page, but that they too, will receive the appearance when rohan goes live.

ahh ok thats fine must of just been talking to someone who dosnt have a clue what they was on about then as i sent a report back to them about it and got the reply along the lines of them saying they wasnt going make a hunter one and should post it on here if i wanted to take it up further....

So you saying....that the most favourable class or at least one of them ,they didnt put their horse on sale to make on money because...of hate? yeah... :S

Some other reason will be be patient

They love Hunters enough to release a horse for them. So, that must mean that they REALLY despise minstrels, captains, LMs...

As a previous poster has said, they don't like hunters for a variety of reasons, but a custom horse isn't one of the more important ones.

Im a Hunter and most of the time im replacing the Lore-Master's Dazes with a Bard's Arrow or DS because a champion has done a nooby AoE right next to the mob :|
Anyone can do any of this, and a hunter is so nerfed that Heart-Seeker is nothing compared to a guardians critical hit

Hunters can hit like a truck. In any case, they definitely hit harder than a Guardian. I've never heard of a Guardian hitting for 16k, unless in Draig or something, where a hunter should hit even harder than that.

What on earth would a hunter need with a steed? It would probably end up dead within seconds of mounting it due to the destructive and carelessness of them.

I feel sorry for the poor horse having to be ridden by a class that has a passive skill called enrage fellowship as well as the skill named devastate raid group.

yes hunters need so me horse love then again LM's dont haave a steed of the LM so lms need some love as well

Case in point-
Any class can solo a three man at level- if they are a good player - except hunters
Any class can take on a warg 1v1 in the moors - except hunters
Hunters are known as the DPS class but are not the highest DPS output 1v1 or 1vgroup
Question is what do they have that other classes don't?
Travel skills - nope you can get a milestones in the store
Tracking skills- most are ineffective in the areas you want them or you have to retrait yourself weaker.

Message that this gives to me- hunters are for noobs- not for real players and that is sad as my main is a hunter for 4+ years.

Wow, I had no idea that people hated Hunters so much.
