10 year old player looking for family oriented kin suggestions

My son is on Crickhollow and he is 10. He would like to join a family oriented kin. He picked a Kin called carnal knowledge and I had to explain to him that that wasn't really an appropriate guild for a 10 year old. Anyone have any suggestions for a kinship?

I doubt that you will fine a "family oriented" kin. Our kin has strict rules to keep the chat kid friendly, but we do not allow random people in. Also, many kins are not going to want younger players in their kins because they tend to not be the best players and beg other kin mates for free things. Maybe just let him try different kins until you find one you like. He can always leave them.

    Parents of Middle Earth

I know that the Parents of Middle Earth has an offshoot kin for their kids that play. The Parents of Middle Earth Kinship is made up of parents who like to play, and quite a few of them have kids that play along with them. Not having any kids older than 10 months myself, I am not sure exactly how it works. If you want more information you can contact Faragrim on the Riddermark server.

PoME does have an arm for thier kids on Riddermark (it is for thier kinmates). We are a family friendly kinship, but have min age (20) on our kinmates. We allow the children of members to have thier kids in kinship. But like I said the parents of these ones are responsible for them in kinship. We do have a few under age in Kin.

you know im not saying he HAS to join my kin and im NOT saying that my kin is the best but since i am just 1 year older then him it may just make the most since to join my kin (just my opinion)

Isn't Swords of Light still active?. I thought they advertise as mature / family friendly / good values and though i've never been a member I have had the pleasure of gaming with a few of them here and they are a good bunch. - M.

He can purchase mt Kin called Keepers of The Promise. It's a max lvl 10 Kin. No Kin house. Then he can start his own for kids under 18? Under 15? You can mail me Qal in game or reply here.

Fyi, it takes 8 for the kin to say alive. I have 10 total. I can leave them there until he recruits.

Sorry, didn't read all the posts. Great ideas. Especially the 11 year old. Hope he has a great time.
