Thread: Done Multiple Reinstalls but still get "Not Responding"

Yesterday the game got stuck on a black screen after login and would not launch. I managed to fix the problem by restarting my computer. Today, however, I got the same problem again, but this time, no matter what I do, I still get the same problem. I have updated my drivers. I have reinstalled multiple times (from both my MoM DVDs and a digital download). I have renamed the UserPreferences.ini file, and tried running using DX9. No matter what I do, the game always gets stuck on a black screen after login and will not run. Is there any known reason to cause this, and any known fix for it?

Maybe try a reset of your router. I had problems with the lotro store(only showed a black screen) and that solved it for me. Might be worth a try!

this could be the infamous black screen issue, which could sometimes be fixed by clicking your mouse buttons when the black screen appears or running lotro in windowed mode

another fix which usually works, find userpreferences.ini and take a backup then open the original in notepad
fine the 2 lines forcefakefullscreen and allowfakefullscreen and edit both so they =false
