I'd just like an official response on one thing: will current audacity ranks on creeps stay or not post update? Deciding whether to put more audacity on my BA or not.

Basically right now an aud rank 2 through 7 is 6000 comms each, after the update the cost will be something like 225 comms each for 2 through 6.

In this season of Monster Play, Audacity is being extended out to 14 [sic 13] ranks which can be purchased normally, as
well as a 15^th rank that is only attainable via Relic control. The bonuses of Audacity are being redistributed such that ranks 1 through 6 now hold 1/3 of the maximum potency available, and ranks 7 through 14 hold the remaining 2/3.

Acquiring Audacity

For Freeps, the new gear grants 2 levels of Audacity instead of 1.
For Creeps, ranks 2 through 6 of Audacity cost a total of 1125 Commendations (all Creeps start off with rank 1). Ranks 7 through 14 cost 6000 Commendations each.

The number of ranks of audactiy is 13 this was corrected in one of the followup discussion posts.

You will still keep your ranks of audacity when it goes live. You won't lose any.

However, your audacity ranks will be provide less resistances after RoR than they do now, and if you want the same level of resists you're going to have to increase your audacity to the new levels.

For example, in order to receive the same benefits you receive now at aud R7, you'll then need to have Aud R13. Audacity rank 7 then will be around the equivalent of rank4 right now. So each rank will be less effective after RoR comes out than it currently is.

In other words, yes, you are still going to want those ranks of audacity, and you'll need even more when RoR goes live.

I found ^this to be an interesting dynamic. Not sure exactly how that works.

Creeps - Aud 7 -12 (6,000 comms) = 36,000 comms = [total 42,750] = Aud 12+1(starter) Aud 13

For Creeps at any level below Max Rank and Max Aud will be on average out done 2 to 1 by freeps and maxing out Creepside will be more expensive than freeside.

Something to think about. When a creep buys a level of audacity, they don't lose it, ever. They don't have to rebuy it. So my creep, who is currently at rank 6 audacity, and will likely be at 7 when RoR comes out, won't have to spend those initial 6750 coms. However, a freep will find that their old audacity gear is outdated and are going to have to replace that completely. They can use it in the moors and have rank 7 audacity, but their other stats are likely to be hurting in comparison and so will be loath to use them. So in that case freeps and creeps will both be spending about the same amount.

The ones that it will hurt some will be those that are just starting out on creepside. But then again in many ways it will also be easier for a greenie creep to start then it is now, as all of their skills and other things will be much cheaper than it currently is for creeps that are just starting out.
