Thread: Problem with Ash Haft by crafting: Armsman (woodworker)

I have 63 Ash Shafts in the bags.
Crafting : Armsman (Woodworker) skill 236/560.
I want made for Ash great club (Melee Weapons (Level 14) ). Said 0/1 Ash Haft and 50/1 Fine leather wrapping. But don´t working with 0/1 Ash Haft as bugs or what?? . See I have 63 Ash Shafts.
I was trying restart my computer then again don´t working with 0/1 Ash Haft for Woodworker
That was fine with skill 236/560 woodworker but don´t working.
What happened with 0/1 Ash Haft!! ? ( can´t click "make or make all" )
Any idea ? plz Or fix ? plz Or I do? plz

The recipe is for Ash Haft, and you have Ash Shafts in your bag, which you stated. You'll have to make something that needs ash shafts. It might be a level 16 recipe you can buy from the novice woodworkers in the crafting areas. It's easy to mix them up since they sound so similar.

Wood Workers can made Ash Hafts and Ash Shafts from Ash planks,

You use Ash Shafts to make the various types of Ash Bows. You use Ash Hafts to make the various kinds of Ash clubs.

You have to look at the recipes very carefully. You need Ash Bow staffs that you buy from an NPC. Plus you need Ash hafts and Ash Shafts that you make. Some recipes call for a mixture of bow staffs, hafts and shafts to further confuse you.

Bow staffs are crafted too. Leather wrappings are mostly what you have to buy from vendors, among other things.

You are correct. I am getting the crafted wood worker components confused with the NPC bought wood components that metal smiths use - Long Ash Shaft and Short Ash Shaft. The wood components are very confusing because of the similar names.

It is easy for a player with a lot of crafting knowledge to make a mistake if they do not carefully examine every recipe.

I bolded the two words to point them out. You made 63 Ash Shafts but the recipe calls for Ash Hafts. Spot the difference? You use Hafts to make melee weapons and Shafts to make ranged weapons (you'll also need to make bowstaves for that.)
