What ppl think the new PvMP dev diary will include?
Cant wait to see what the new dev diary includes but would liek to know what ppl expect.
I mostly play Freep on my LM so I hope they fix the LM on the moors for example:
1- With adition of new combat system in mirkwood inductions became hard to fire off.
2- Introduction of DR our big role as CC was also diminished.
3- Audacity finished off the small bit of CC we got left.
4- Store pots was the big end of LM ppl popping slow and CC imunity in combat for a whole minute made LMs useless on their main role.
With this LMs are now just aoe ranged DPS with ability to put long dots. Its still nice if wasnt for the long inductions of some skills.
This is not a rant nor QQ just trying to make ppl see that once the most feared class on the moors is quite diminished now, PvMP is all about movement now and LMs suffed with that cause must stand still, face the target and do big inductions.
I rly hope they saw that and give some love to LMs now.
Another Thing Id like to see is if they removed audacity from armour pieces.
I think audacity is a good idea but they could just made it a passive skill like they did on creep side and we all could choose what gear to use.
Some freep classes do too many damage I know I also play a RK and its crits are rly high.
Also think some creep classes have too much morale onm some classes, seeing wargs and BAs running around with 14 or 15K morale and some reavers getting close to 20K seems just too much for the best dps classes creeps have, the counter parts of them in freep side do more damage yes but also have half morale than them or less.
Maybe if Reaver and BA did +- same damage than their counterparts (champs and hunters) and got their morale dropped a bit would be more balanced.

Exaggerating a little , are we not ?
I hope they fix everything that needs to be fixed ( naive I know ! ) .
They've come out with the 'make the moors more about actual PvP' line before, and frankly it has never been particularly successful. Presumably Audacity and Commendations will remain as systems, as those were only added recently. Perhaps they will edit the numbers though.
Concerning creep classes, Reavers might get some buffage in various aspects, Warleaders and Defilers getting a DPS boost perhaps. Probably not updates on the scale of the U6 Weaver/Warg changes, but to a certain degree.
But in general I got nuthin'. I would say the state of the Moors can't get any worse, but frankly, yeah it could, and yeah, it may very well do.

Reavers and BAs rarely have that much, you also forget that they don't have 50 billion bubbles like champs do.
But, I expect this diary to be rubbish. Maybe some great BUY IN THE LOTRO STORE! Or some new PVE junk. At most I expect there will be great on-paper ideas in it that will be terribly implemented.

TBH, I can't predict what Turbine will screw up next (ya, ya, pessimist, but if I don't have any expectations, I can't be disappointed right? :P).
If I had to give it a go, I'd say that I hope that reaver/wl/defiler at least get some loving, but I'm also seeing more PvE in the moors (something about the delving) and the start of a new audacity grind (new season). I predict that there will be many things broken and/or OP (mostly on the freep side due to new PvE skills) with the release of RoR (when isn't there...) and they won't fix any of the long-standing bugs/exploits, but will instead introduce new ones.
In response to the idea of "fixing" PvMP; we won't have "balance" in the 'Moors until Creeps can build their toons in a like manner as Freeps, rather than the static builds we have now.
BTW, to the OP, for Creeps to have that kind of morale build we have to sacrifice damage, which is already laughable for most Creep classes. Even my "OP" warg dev crits for 189 pts while a partially blocked attack from a guardian hits for 2-2.5x that much. When our attacks crit for less than the tooltips list as "normal" damage, the system is broken.
Honestly, I'm with Feel here, I have no expectations, if we get anything that isn't broken then listed as "WAI" I'll be utterly amazed.

There are a lot of words, I can promise you that much. If I recall it was something in the 5,000 word range. It's pretty big. jwbarry is looking forward to your feedback, so please when the dev diary goes live use the official discussion thread in the official discussion forums to talk about it.

I am liking the outpost and keep changes. Trying to hold and capture multiple targets at a time will provide a strong incentive for raid groups to break up and supports a more mobile small group based style of play which should be a big improvement over the tendency for one side to build up an overwhelming force and keep flip. I am still not sold on audacity or commendations, though I am pleased to see commendation costs of skills go down, it was long overdue.
