Thread: The Road to Rohan: Mounted Combat

So I opened my Youtube and found this on my subscriptions list...



Although I dislike how short some shots were, I did like that we managed to see a small bit of the Lore-master in action during this video.

IMO the video should've been longer though.

Mounted Burning Embers. I knew it.

Also that skill looked like SOP: C to me. Could be wrong though.

Nice video overall. Could've been longer, but I'm happy with it.

...mostly because it showed my favourite class for the first time.

Really nice teaser, looks like a real battlefield!

Looks like Lore-masters will be the next Mounted Fireball-Throwers, waving staffs around and whacking enemies' heads with the end of it. Heh.

From what I could see, it seems very much like all classes will be mostly the same on horseback as they are on foot. People had feared that mounted combat would make them lose their class play style, but I think it'll be fine.

It does look that way, but the video is rather short, so I'm unsure as to what we can conclude from it.

It does look awesome, tho...

Looks amazing, saw a bit of Hunter action too I wonder how Burglar's will play out?

Woohoo....first ever vid showing a loremaster (my main char) on the warsteed and I must say one thing.....It does not look awkward at all!!! Infact it looks pretty impressive.....the animations are clean and smooth and graceful.....

YAY! Lore-master action

It's great to see mounted LM action.
The only thing I didn't like is how the bodies our characters still don't move enough in sync with the horse movement.

It looks like horse emotes are gonna work on warsteeds too.

One thing I'm thinking now. If you can ride your war steed everywhere... is it gonna have the same morale everywhere? (That would be a trouble in the moors)

Seriously, that looks kind of awesome. I want more.

The video popped up in my google rss feed on this site. The line that caught my eye was this "the latest video shows off the new form of mounted combat creeps and freeps will be able to enjoy." I wonder if they're just misinformed of if mounted combat is actually coming to the moors?

Didn't they say a while back (like, early June, when the pre-order started) that mounted combat was not​ coming to the Moors?
