Thread: Respect in 1v1s

So sad how the 1v1 etiquette has changed. the good freeps still show respect but some freeps such as Decgard...... no.
pops 5 bubbles per fight, man heal, dire need, and pots. finally would like to post what he said in ooc after i was still winning after all these cd's. [OOC] Decgard: 'heal pls' lol he does this like every fight, not just against me.

im sad that someone actually tried to help him too!

Yeah, exactly! I can't believe what happened tonight! I was sitting there afk eating dinner when Tarine killed me 6 times...while I was afk! What a jerk! Then all us creeps were just sitting around watching the 1v1s and all the freeps suddenly turned on us and killed us!!! &&&!! NO RESPECT!!!


For real though, aside from my personal terrible attitude/behaviors against Tarine (and Thrandure once), those 1v1s lasted a pretty long time for the Windy moors. Aside from Dec popping every CD he possibly could, it was a pretty nice couple hours of enjoying conversation/events at the 1v1 circle. Even the greenie rank 0 spider Shamwow manage to troll someone to death....too funny! lol

The etiquette hasn't, the players have.
It's the era of EZMODE, we shall get used to it.

I'm inclined to think he and/or the healer(s) in question didn't quite know what a 1v1 means.

Why can't people ever do this when I'm on? And I mean properly, not the ones where there's greenies one side and the other's effectively farming them under cover of 1v1'ing...

Only 1v1 action I get is late-night with AT.

If someone is easymoding in a 1v1 circle then you have the very simple choice of either ignoring them or trying to challenge yourself against the odds. It's not in the spirit of 1v1 circles to imbalance a fight heavily (in other words, play the game as Turbine intended), but is it in the right spirit to go in there caring about deaths or point gains. The last one cuts both ways.

Thanks for the link, I had no idea that there was etiquette involved in 1v1. And had no idea that champ bubbles where frowned upon in a 1v1. No worries since I am fail in pvp it still does not have any bearing on the outcome.

Ahahaha, it was all in fun. I was also surprised at how long they lasted, it got to the point i was actually waiting for creeps to roll it over cus i was just so tired of some of the [mounted]freeps complaining at how we're 1v1ing.

Lol we were literally dying at how funny it was....that spider wouldn't respond to any of our tells or anything, he had a die hard attitude about getting a kill, and when glekto finally got one shotted, we were all so happy at Sham's success.

I wonder who that little guy was. lol
