Thread: Warsteeds: How will we aquire them?

I was wondering about one aspect of warsteeds, which is how we will actually get them in game. I am hoping they will not need to be purchased in the turbine store. Does anyone have any news/rumors of how it will work?

They've said everyone will have access to mounted combat and one of the trait lines so presumably it will be required for the epic and given to us in the epic.

Look at question 4.

All players, regardless of whether they bought the expansion, will receive a War-Steed. However, the people that did not order with the expansion will only have access to 1 trait line for their steed, whereas the players that did purchase the expansion would have access to all of them. The other trait lines will be available for purchase in the Turbine Store.

Either way, it better be worth it; Since the game launched, and becoming life sentenced to the game i have spent around $650 AUD to expand, which is a lot of dosh in anyone's currency, and the most i have ever shelled out for a game... Obviously, yes i love it as an avid JRR Fan, but seriously, if i find i have to 'buy' something else to move on, i am going to get perturbed.
