I'd known that there've been some rules for 1v1s and I've been hearing about them from many players, but I didn't know there is a page about 1v1 in Lorebook.
Since I've been asked by a few of my friends about 1v1s, I'd like to put a link to that page here: http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/1v1s (Last modified: 06/07/2012 08:17:41)
Though the page doesn't contain really much information, what written in it should have been already discussed. I myself learned something I didn't know before, so I hope this will be some help for those who wants to start 1v1s.
In the end, let me make it clear that I'm not talking weather 1v1 is good or not in this thread.
Enjoy!

Some of the other locations besides candy mtn. were interesting. Was kinda surprised that the area south of tr before you get close to eagle pass wasn't mentioned. Seems like it might be a good spot to avoid a heavy traffic area.
Don't think I agree with the comment that the 1v1 between Eowyn and the witch king was interrupted by Merry. Witch king expected a gank.
Was wondering what the rest of the community thought about some of the crafted items- bow chants for example?
Place was overrun with rats when we moved in. The spearwives killed the nasty buggers. Now the place is overrun with spearwives. There’s days I want the rats back~Dolorous Edd
They both fought with their armies. It might be a 1v1 but you can't say Merry interrupted it. lol

Yeah, I agree that south of TR is a good place to avoid some heavy traffic, but that area is on some new freeps' ways to TR from GV. Personally, I'd like to see somewhere near that area used for 1v1s: the area behind TR. I think it must be a good place, because it is close to PTR, GTR, TR rez, and GV and easy to accessed, and never bother other players' play (except few pathetic raid babies whose mind is always filled with plans of zerging while they're in the moors).

In my opinion, they should not be allowed if the scrolls are not.
