Thread: quick question about maintenance

Hey guys, anyone knows when server will be up? they say its Monday, July 16th from 3:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT). And i live in GMT +2 (or +1 i actually have no idea :P), its 5:30 pm here now. If my calculation is right it will be up at 7 pm right?


I think this is the wrong section but couldn't find any fitting section for this question hehe.

19:00 they say, so round 20:30? NOTE: If there's a patch (dunno, but servers really long down), it will be downloading for another 10 hours

GMT -4 is our offset, so you'd have to add that back into the time, plus your offset. So...

3AM - 1PM Eastern becomes 7AM - 5PM GMT. That's 9AM-7PM Your time (based on your +2 GMT offset)

So, in short, yes.

In practice....they extended it another hour so you still have 48 mins as of................now.

It's been extended, again!

So hopefully it´s 21:00 now(for Germany).

BTW, I´m sure some would really appreciated at least a general hint what´s going on.
Just some:

• software/database magix
• actual performance enhancing hardware upgrades
• all of the above

P.S. I routinely get the urge to Homer-strangle the monkey that came up with this daylights saving sh..idea.

No maintenance was that long the last month and indeed what happened to bugs in draigoch - client crashes or the all players annoying lags.
YEP - not too much - still facing them.

So they just want to show they are working hard. Question is on what?
Pots of alc they bunkered....perhaps?
Or maybe they are searching for the only engineer who knows about the power switch. ^^

But I am pretty sure they're not working on a detailed description what is really going on there.
