LOTRO: A perfect answer to solving my MMO + girlfriend question :)

    Hi everyone,

My first impressions of this game is reflief...i.e that a free MMO with LOTR lore is so great!

I am enjoying the FTP format (I have bought Mithril Edition to help myself out) but as a former WoW player who left it and then found a long term gf (lol), I must say LOTRO is really helping me get my MMO fix but still keeps her happy (as I can play without the worry of paying a monthly fee for a small amount of game time)

And very glad the community is actually really helpful and not full of people offering their arrogant opinions

    Much love

Welcome to the game! You'll find a lot to love about the game. As an FTP player, be sure to stockpile your Turbine Pts so you buy the quest packs in the areas as you level up.

    Cheers,

    Fara

Ask her to play along with you?

My boyfriend and I love sitting together and playing LOTRO.
And, yes, this community is very welcoming for us new people.

LOL I play for hours at a time myself. Except, I haven't had my own computer for a while, so my friend (the one that talked me into trying it) lets me play on his, which means I'm working around his schedule. But now I have a computer, so I'm in the process of downloading it now. I hope to be in the game either tonight or tomorrow after work. Once I get in, I'll be playing even more
