    Rollbacks

    Anyone remember that bug from like 2 years ago? Yeah it's happening again...3 people so far on the brandywine server it has happened to. Let's hope this doesn't happen again.

    Actually, I have no idea what you're referring to, but it sounds ominous. Could someone clarify this? What exactly is the bug in question?

    God....

    Hated this bug, happened alot on Snowy back when it was a big problem.

    Basically Thalion, you would run about maiing infamy, then suddenly it would just freeze like lag does near area lines etc. Your basically forced to log out then back in, and you lose all the infamy you gained, and you resdpawn back to another point in the map where you had been a while back :-(

    Rollbacks remove a certain amount of a players infamy/renown after crashing their client (can't remember on crash or not). It really sucked after an hour or 2 and getting rolled back when you gained 2k+ infamy/renown.

    Haven't seen this happening in a long time .

    Are you sure it wasn't something related to your own internet service ?

    Or just the good ol' server lag ...

    Anyway , I say /bug it .

    Happened to me twice way back when. Once when I used Death Blossom near OC and another time when I used Uruk Heal near old TR HS.

    Lucky I don't have many AoE's so doesn't hurt me if I play carefully, so I'm not nearly as scared as some champs

    I remember it distinctly.

    I was 4 inf from R9 in a raid, when BANG. Disconnected, logged out and could not log back in for 20 minutes. Fortunately though, I lost no inf.

    Imagine being north of lugs in a group of about 6. You had a great fight and got a couple hundred renown. All of a sudden you freeze then get knocked back into the character selection screen. You can still talk and hear your fellowship though!! After a few minutes you can log back in and you find yourself in Bree and don't have any of that renown you just earned!

    I was rolled back on my defiler yesterday. Lost about 10 minutes, appeared back at grams without any buff pots applied.

    Disturbing to see the return of this bug.

    it was actually barely a year ago around the time of CM merge more or less(I dono if it happened before too I took a break up until jan last year)

    fortunately I never had this bug but others had it like 10 times a day sometimes, not very fun I hope it ain't coming back.

    Awesome, was just rolled back...lost about 500 renown and had previously used consumables back in inventory.

    This bug is still happening. Just rolled back near TR hotspot, after crashing my client and cleaning up old connection I loaded into the game at OC sans 300 infamy and 1 quest completion.
