Which is more important, Age or Level, when deciding on a bag?

For example, which do you choose given the choice between:
65 2A or a 75 3A
65 2A or Crafted 75 3A
60 1A or Crafted 75 3A
etc...

Hope this makes sense!

Depends on the Relics you have:

with nearly no relics/shards:

60 1A > 65 2A > 75 (Craftet) 3A

with medium relics/shards:

65 2A > 75 (Craftet) 3A > 60 1A

with best relics:

75 (Craftet) 3A > 65 2A > 60 1A

75 2A, because worn symbols are easy (two guaranteed, and the price is going down)

You arguably don't need anything more than a 60 1A - but the argument for a 75 *A, crafted relics, is pretty compelling.

yeah lvl 75 SA is easy to get... and never craft a 3rd age LI There are always some 3rd agers on AH for like 100s.

Like a previous poster said, don't focus on any 3rd ager class item. Getting a lvl 75 2nd ager is rather easy, especially with the expansion closing in.

For burglars, most ppl tend to go for either a lvl 60 FA or lvl 75 SA.

A first ager will give you approx 80 additional legendary to upgrade your legacies, compared to a second ager. The lvl 60 cap does mean you miss out on the highest relics though.

It is arguably easier to get the lvl 60 FA, as the instances are fast and you're not dependent on winning rolls in order to get one.

I personally prefer my lvl 60 FA. With 4 major legacies, the additional upgrade points is more valuable for me then the stat boost gained from higher lvl relics.

You are guaranteed a Worn Symbol of Celebrimbor from the (current) last chapter of the epic, and another from beating Draigoch the first time. No rolling there either.

True, but assuming the OP does what I suspect most ppl are doing, the worn symbol from the epic quest was turned into a weapon .

Dragioch gives a symbol, provided that raid is available. I gathered enough tokens for a FA before getting the symbol from draigoch though. Probably because it was easier to find groups for turtle / watcher then for draig.

I don't know which Server you are playing, but on Maiar server you get ninjainvites as 75er burg for Draigoch^^

Try to get lv 65 1st age instead. The symbols are easy to get, since they are useless for most people and they sell them for ~10 gold.

Good things about having lv 65 1st age:
- Have enough points to max 4 or 5 major legacies (if you get them).
- Can use good relics (Extraordinary and True)
- Can use crafted relics with 390 mastery/crit (not much worse than the current best ones)

The other advantage to this compromise is that Scrolls of Empowerment are a lot cheaper than Scrolls of Greater Empowerment for tiering up your legacies.

Thanks guys, good advice. I have Worn Symbols to use to have someone make me a 75 SA. What symbols are needed for someone to make me a 65 1A?

regular symbol of the elder king

lvl 75 2nd age bag for the crafted relics. those are too good to pass up.

Which drops from OD, if my memory serves me correct. Slight drop chance on t1, better on t2, guaranteed drop on challenge.

Please dont use level 60 first ages

If you have to and you get a good one with 5 Pool A / Gold legacies then use a 65 tools but otherwise always go for minumim of 75 Second age.
