I know and like most everyone in Arise. Can't really think of someone I DON'T like.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about with them. No, this isn't a request to have it explained in rage-filled diatribes.

Granted I really don't go to the Moors often and when I do I just 1-man zerg creeps and die over and over (I just pay attention to the Moors-related drama because I don't have TV and therefore Silverlode drama is my reality TV surrogate), but I don't really get it either. All of the Arise people I've ever run with are super nice. My impression of Tennis is that he just thinks he's being helpful with his spying. That guy is a riot...I did a Saruman with the Arise folks a couple of weeks ago and he was on his guard and kept trying to give his acorn whistle to people.

I guess I'm just having trouble understanding where all of this drama originates since everyone is so nice. Even Morkel's rage is fueled by love.

Thanks Morkel, and I know that you and I are good and will always be good, we've been through too much over the years to have something simple like a kin membership come between us. Now if it was a woman....that's another story :P

I'm kind of with you on this one Gylve. I honestly don't know where all the Arise hatred started. It might have been during my most recent break from the game, but I've never had anything but good contact with them, except for Drail running for his life (hehe), but he, like everyone else, is working on resisting that self preservation urge to run and I have to say he's doing an amazing job with it. Thanks Drail for being a team player. So, to Arise I say this..Keep doing what you're doing, keep coming out to fight and keep the moors alive.

I've seen more and more people on both sides (even medium and light armoured classes) up in the front lines fighting and I like where it's headed. Soon, no one (except for the occasional person) will run and we'll resume having some of those memorable fights that you remember months or years later. I look forward to it.

Yeah, seems like alot of burgs are coming out of their holes now as of lately from their holes lol. Seem'd like Drail was confused on what to bring out last night lol.

Thanks for the chase Merildoc, was fun with 5 npcs on me, running around in your keep. :P

Yeah, I agree, I have some great friends in the Arise kin, not sure how this whole hatred thing started, it had me irritated before. One, I have been friends with since we made friends back when I started out in our first kinship, The Lost Company (hoping Drail remembers this!). I left Order of the Silverflame due to their lack of activity and formed with Arise. Great people and friends will ever be remembered, for when I depart, I will always come back when I fill there is less grinding (which has burnt a hole in my fur), knowing that I will always have friends that I will always come back to play with!

Drak, its not about Arise its about Tennis, like i said I recognize they have good players, idk any of them, just talked with Drail once a while ago, and he is good i like him, that mini Earyende too (sp?) pretty good healing minstrel and we dont have many good minis on moors anymore (look at kykbrand & Co, poppin brands like candys and then crying in forums about the incoming creeps changes)

Anyways the supposed hate (if you think that a videogame drama its real hate, well you must be doing something wrong) comes from they group up and heal a player that cheats-spys every single day, imo that kind of player should be playing solo but everyone know that he cant, he always needs backup

But its what it is, adapt or die

I was sad that I knew I had to log off like 20 minutes after I saw you out there Grimbon. I had already been on for almost 3 hours before you came on. My normal playtime on weekdays is around 3-7pm MT. The fight on the stairs in TR after we flipped it (only flipped it cuz I was logging and I knew the raid would probably fall apart so it would be easy for the freeps to take it back) was impressive and unexpected. Even though you guys wiped I still saw almost half my raid died, I was wishing my rez wasn't on CD. I couldn't believe it took so long to kill the RK we were focusing (don't remember who it was) lol. Still, well done and I hope you guys got a decent amount of kills.

Thanks for the clarification Coco. If Tennis is the main reason than I would imagine that the hatred, disrespect, etc. would be focused at him (and it seems like a lot is) and not at Arise. Yeah, they play with him but almost all tribes/kins have players with bad attitudes, bad playstyles, and cheaters, so if that's the way it's going to be than everyone should hate everyone else lol.

I agree with your last statement Coco, "It is what it is, adapt or die." Nothing said or complained about will change it. He'll get tired of it one day (and so will the other spies), so until then let's just deal with it. Besides, someone made a comment in group the other day about people spying that was kind of interesting. It's good in it's own way because it keeps the freeps and creeps clashing more often which means more kills for both sides, so honestly it doesn't really bother me. I'd rather have a group of freeps come try to kill my group when I'm leading a group in to ninja a keep or take an OP or something like that instead of just taking it and leaving.

If it is the fight I am thinking of, I believe that was Morteth. I usually target forward thru him since he gets targeted a lot and he is usually a target assist anyways. I blew all my cooldowns trying to keep him up!!!
I don't think I get a chance to run into you much Drak, but it is usually fun. I am seeing a lot more where creeps are willing to push(more so than I can recall before) and it is great. If only we can get more freeps to follow suit. The open field battles are awesome. Even if I don't make it past the first few seconds

The fight in the stairwell was a blast, it reminded me of old times fighting on the second floor of TR in Edel's raids. It is too bad that the rest of the night was pretty quiet.

I love to charge in and just go berserk just to get off a single kill. But I adapt to both play styles depending upon the situation of course. With more of the aggressive and as well as more strategic single target(s).

Open battle field fights are the best, and I prefer that any day other than trying to rush into a keep just to try get freeps to catch after me, lol.

I joined the Moors several months ago and I have 1 almost R6 BA, and an almost R5 reaver. I don't have a R9 so I don't know if they're equal to a freep, but They say that They are going to make creeps (I don't know at what rank) equivelant to freeps in addition to making it where there will likely be more bigger battles, both open field and keep, so I think that will be a big improvement. I definitly agree that if a large raid comes across 1 or 2 guys it would be best to have 1or 2 volunteers fight them to give the smaller group a chance (With, of course the understanding that the larger group will try to avenge their buddies. And I think that it would be best if nobody ran away from a fight if there people in your group around, after all what is rating. [As a side note I am suicidal]
I think that Drak is a great leader [Not the least for inviting newbies like myself, and his langauge restrictions.] and if everyone was willing to push, as well as to make the fight more fair (Running into NPCs) it would be a whole lot more fun and more Infamy/Renown. It seems like we could make Silverlode PvMP a lot more fun, including some "Organized Fun".
