Hiya! I see people complaining about this game becoming P2W, should I still try it out?

yes, if you dont try it you wont know what your missing

long story short make up your own mind whether you like it or not, theres way more people who enjoy lotro than there are who whine about it being P2W and some people just like to wine because wine makes em drunk

I tried it, I love it!
I don't play any other MMO's, so I can't compare. I came to this game via my interest in Tolkien and tabletop (pen and paper) RPG's.
I really enjoy the story and the environment of this game. And part of that environment is the people. I am currently playing on Ellendilmir and I have a great kin to hang and raid with. I hope to see you in game.

There are a lot of people who did not like the fact that the game added a Free to Play option and are very vocal and negative about almost any change since then.

As others have said, give it a try, you'll love it.

Some people just can't do anything but QQ, every game has them, forums are notorius breeding grounds for anonymous slag fests.

In short, as mentioned above, try it yourself and form your own opinion.

You may like to add that a lot of people don't like the fact that a lot of the recent developer's time is being used to develop store content. (i.e. mannequins is the latest).

By the way Unique, I got Khafar, Ayrolen and even one of the Heydt's opinion on the dummies. I'm missing yours, DrkCtry, Arbalister and Mjk47. What do you think?

@OP- Try it for yourself. The game will be what you make out of it. Some people love it, others hate it, a lot of people enjoy it, a lot of people are disappointed with the current state of things. Only by trying you can get a feeling for it.

Those people are sad whiners. There is no competition between Players in the main game, so there is no P2W. Try the game, go with your gut.
