I would love to see on the LI panel a drop down list of dmg types we could select from, so once you have scribed a dmg scoll ie belierand + 8 to Ancient Evil you will able to select it any time and/or switch to another type of dmg depending on the situation.
So by collecting a these scrolls and scribing them we can select which one we would like to use anytime for a particular weapon in our LI slots.
Sounds like a good idea to me.
Especially for Sarnur, where you need Ancien dwarf damage, it would be great to be able to put the damage-type on my LI without destroying my old one.
I don't feel like that's a really good idea.
Not if able to do so on the fly.
Can't say why, it's just a feeling...
/signed if you can get the choice of active
damagetype at Forgemaster only though...

You already can overwrite a scroll on an LI without destroying it. Scrolls themselves arent that hard to obtain - most of the good ones are available from daily quests, or by collecting barter tokens from daily quests. That means you can change out your LI scrolls and change it back about once per day.
Really, I think thats adequate flexibility to customize your LI damage. How often do you really need to be switching between Beleriand and ADM/Westernesse?
I definitely dont think it's fair to expect people to constantly swap between +Orc and +Spider and +The Dead damage, too. And if you give people the option, you're essentially expecting them to - how many things in this game like that remain truly optional for long?
