When are points distributed to those with lifer accounts?

Is it a specific day of the month or does it vary?

Usually you get the points within a few days after your subscription started.

In the case of most Europeans that would be within the first week of the month.

Every 30 days. So, if you originally subscribed/bought Lifer on the 15th of the month then you should be getting your points on, or within a day or two, of that date each month.

Keep in mind though that since some months have 31 days your date will slowly change. For example if your date were on April 15th your next points would arrive on May 15th since April has exactly 30 days. However, since May has 31 days your points in June will arrive on the 14th. That 1 day change every couple months will add up over the course of a year so that eventually your monthly point date will be near the beginning of the month.

Is that really true? I was under the impression the date is the same every month, period. It's not every 30 days, but once per month, right? In this case, it doesn't matter how many days there are in a month.. Every four weeks would be 28 days. Every 30 days doesn't really make much sense considering the calendar we follow.. Just sayin'..

EDIT: Of course, for whatever reason, the actual application of points to your account doesn't seem to go through immediately, so your day may fluctuate because of that, but I think it always works relative to the day of the month you signed up..

My original sign-up day was June 29 and was upgraded to Lifetime a few months later. I have been getting my VIP Bonus Turbine Points on the 29th of each month without fail.

The reason I was asking is that me and my wife joined wayyyyyy back in 07 on the 21st. we noticed that we did not get our points within a couple days of that and been watching, so I finally posted to find out. I think the every thirty days thing is right cuz we just got our points today.

I may be wrong, I haven't really been keeping track of my own dates. It's just something I read and there was an official post from Turbine that it was every 30 days (thus the reason for the boxes giving "30 days free" rather than "1 month free").

Of course there may also be a 24-48 hour delay when getting your points too so maybe that delay was put in to normalize the 30 days with the times where it would come early.

If you have a lifetime account, you get your points on the same day of every month. It is the day that your lifetime subscription went active.

People that have recurring subscriptions. They buy game time in 30 day chunks. The day slowly shifts earlier in the month over the course of a year. Five or six days a year depending on whether the year is a normal year or a leap year like 2012.

The signup date for my Lifetime account is January 17th, 2007, but I always get my points closer to the end of the month.
