Hi there
Im a lvl 53 burg who is always keen on the moors thingy. I do hope i can go to the moors asap. Yet anxious that lvl 53 being a little bit squishy. Wot's more, I wonder wot stats to stack once I gain access to the moors? So can anyone answer to the above and drop some tips for me? Thankie!

Moors
I would not suggest going to moors until you are higher, prefferably lvl 75. Mainly for the reason that it will be very hard for you, and the moors is not forgiving anyway. Just so that you are not destroyed all the time, because the creeps will seek you out and pick on you. Just a fair warning.

avoid areas like EC/TA/Stab and camp slugs for r0 reavers

camping slugs will result probably in 1 kill and after that death, creeps can map there and a warg with track can easily find you once the r0 reaver tells in ooc haha
Elilreth - r6 lvl 85 Hunter, Grishpaw - r8 Warg, Maukrai - r5 Reaver,
Drauthrak - r7 Blackarrow, Gwindol - r7 Spider, Shugak - r5 Defiler, Drauthnak r6 Warleader,

Coming into the moors at under levels isnt viable anymore. I used to duo on my cappy with a rk at level 50-55 and had a blast, would show up in 1v1 circles and try to find 2v1s
. Unfortunately you can't do this anymore, even at level 70.
Anyways, in terms of 75 gear, you'll need the audacity set, which is incredibly hard to get now that everyone has it. For gear to get your audacity set, get ToO if you have the means, draigoch if you dont. Grouping is your best hope of not getting facerolled without audacity.

even when u hit 75 burgs in the moors is not so good right now, shadowstance wargs will rip you to bits quick, can track you and are easily the most numerous creep.
if you are still gonna go out there, keep to the outside of the map and keep moving , DO NOT stay in one place, when called out its like the dinner bell ringing for the 1236 wargs on the map at any given time

Greetings Aeglors, I see that your Burglar is under level 75. Let me give you the best piece of advice you can possibly get at that level concerning the Ettenmoors: Get to 75 before going in there.
Virtue Traits: Some burglar's have been perfectly content with Zeal, Valour, Tolerance, Fidelity and Honour.
Gear: Get some good PvE gear before going in there to grind out Commendations to get your PvP gear OR you could grind Commendations on your Creeps and buy the PvP armour for your Burglar. PvP armour is VERY important. With all that Audacity on your gear you'll be picking up -30% less damage than without it. There are 3 different sets of PvP armour--picking between these is really up to you. Some people go with full sets, others go with mixes of the PvP sets.
Potions: Also pick up large stacks of pots from the vendors in Glan Vraig (Wound, Poison, Disease, Fear).
Remember that's this is a Raid vs. Raid region (or grouping, whatever you prefer to call it) so when soloing is unbearable (which it can be at certain times of the day) don't be afraid to group. Burglar's brings loads of stuff to the table that will be useful to your fellowship.
Burglar will be frustrating because of where it's at right now, but get good at it and you'll do good. Most imporatantly, DON'T give up. Have fun out there and don't be afraid to die.
SIGHS at most of the replies in this topic. Mostly useless. A few are OK though but most of you completely ignored his questions. Not too helpful, sadly.Last edited by Graycient; Jul 29 2012 at 10:17 PM.

Just prepared to be tracked.. usually better if you duo with another burg out there.. that's what I did when my burg was out there.. but not anymore. Just my 2 cents worth!

Thanks a bunch for the tips. Yet unfotunately, when i was a lowbie i was told Determination was rather important to burgs so that i hurriedly levelled it to max rank while my Zeal rank was 1 lol. the following virtue set is wot ive traited: Determination, Valour, Tolerance, Fidelity, Compassion. btw im a gambler. i find its way better than QK when it comes to survivability.

am now lvl 72...75 is in sight.
am likely to hit 75 in no more than 3 days. looking for some decent gear be4 i try the moors. taken the launch of RoR into account, i have no intention of spending all of the meds&seals on the complete riddle tellers set. id rather reserve em for the coming lvl 85 gear. here follows my armour set in mind: 3 pieces of the riddle tellers, they are gloves, leggings and jacket. apart from these, i choose enduring GR pauldrons of Deflection ( +63 might +63 vit +672IHR +336 evade +681 tact mit), enduring GR helmet of agi ( +63 agi +63 vit +32 fate +336 crit +336 phy mastery). as to cloak, i prefer the warriors cloak of theodred to the RoR legendary version cloak in that the former improves my survivabilty a lot.
so any thought or tips?
