Thread: Role Playing in the Riddermark!

Hello Everyone! Stormstar and I are back in business creating roleplaying events for our server!

We have a few things in mind coming up, but we want YOUR feedback on what you want to do, what time you want to do it, where you want events held, etc. We are up for just about anything so let us know your thoughts!

Personally I would love to see some rp events! Just let me know when and where and I'll be there!

I would like to see some RP events on riddermark as well.

As to what kind of event well maybe a Moria Exploration or something involving cave delving like and expedition to find rare landmarks or maybe get some deeds.

I'm up for anything! Count me in!

*roleplay sense tingling* Oooh.. When? Where?

Would this be in the form of an event based on action gameplay, or something calm and open to all levels in Bree or a town?

It would be nice to build up Riddermark RP community.

Please count me in. I'd like for a group of adventurers to meet up perchance and set up a friendly group event.

Recurring, town-based, drop-in events are what Kittienna and I are aiming for to start with. In fact, the thread will probably appear soon, so keep an eye out for it!


Roleplaying on Riddermark is a bit like being at that party with the roomful of strangers who are all sort of talking, but nobody wants to be the first one to dance.

Thankfully, my minstrel can compel anybody to dance.


Non-roleplaying servers are great places for casual RP, because you won't get snubbed for having an odd name or for keeping your weapon equipped indoors. There is obvious interest for it on this server. I encourage anyone with a Good Idea to set down details and make their own event as well!

i love the analogy about the party, though. that's sure what it feels like. maybe we could start like a list of people who are totally open to RP at all times on ridmark, just for the sake of knowing who you can and can't really mess with. it might help reduce the whole insecurity thing.

I love to RP! heres an Idea!

1. We who participate will create hobbits and meet up at the party tree and reenact Bilbos birthday and disappearance

2. We all meet up in Green dragon, creating songs, drinking and being merry.

Was this ever pursued? If so any future ones?

To bring this thread back up are there any rpers or events out there? Would love to get together and do some role playing

Yes events are coming to Riddermark. Since taking over my kinship around November of last year yet have gotten little help from Turbine in advertising like they said they would. I will be hosting an event for fashion week and currently letting to get the word out to all of Riddermark. "Strike a Pose" will be held all week and all you have to do is strike a pose in your best outfit for any Rings Anonymous member you see. Also I will Bree nightly so everyone has access to the event. The more people who get out, the more dyes and cosmetic I'll throw in for prizes and I'd even throw in a large sum of gold if the turn out is great. I am still gauging the interest in these types of events on our server so get up, dress up and get out if you want more.
