hey all sorry if this has been posted loads just on way to bed thought i would ask currently i have 27k phy think 2k agi but i have dropped to 5.5k moral is this really bad or that what i should be looking at thanks
I think you're the only one who can answer that. 5.5K is really low, but it depends on what content you run. Most tend to have around 6-7K. Do you die often? Dead men don't do much damage, and you don't want to waste in-combat rezzes. I have been running Orthanc on T1, and it's not always smooth. Sometimes a mez is broken, sometimes people fail to run away when the lightning boss calls their names out. In situations like that it's nice to have a little extra morale. In a good group where no mistakes are made, such as in a serious rading kin, you may be able to get by with less morale.
The amount of morale you'll need depends highly on what you're about to do.
I don't see 5,5k being too little for casual instancing, even in T2. Especially if there's a Captain in group who can buff your morale to around 6k you'd do very well in a 3- and 6-man instances. This goes for solo questing in the landscape, the amount of morale should be no problem
Moving on! The morale requirement certainly rises for raiding. There can be great bunches of damage, some of which cannot be avoided and having extra morale to pillow the damage will allow healers much more time to heal you before you'll die. You'll also have a higher chance to survive big hits, and much less chance to get one shot! I usually raid with approx 6,4k morale unbuffed, with Captain buffs this usually goes close or over 7k. My agility still stays at 2k+.
If I find myself in a situation where I need more morale to ensure maximum survivability, I sacrifice agility & physical mastery and change few pieces of equipment to ones with more morale and vitality (Theodred's Riders rep bracelet with vitality & fate I think, and Men on Dunland reputation vitality ring with +vitality and max morale). Fights such as Saruman and when in Ettenmoors are times like this. This takes me to about 7,2k morale unbuffed, and if I swap on some audacity armor I have about 7,4k unbuffed morale. Agility drops to approx 1,7k-1,8k while wearing the 3 pieces of audacity set I own.
So my recommendations:
- Casual instancing & quests (t1,t2), you're fine as you are, but more wouldn't hurt.
- Raiding, increase to about 6k minimum unbuffed, and have a few alternative jewels to boost your morale even further if needed.
- Ettenmoors, 7k approx unbuffed to make you less attractive target and survive longer.
My job (especially as a Gambler) is to stay alive and CC and debuff stuff, as well as help *overall group DPS* with Reveal Weakness, Cruel Odds etc.
I recently went on a virtue drive and have 7.1k morale and aim for highish mits; with Gregolin on, tac mit is 7.2k. The Agi looks low but I still have 24k PMR.
My Burg is running around with 5,3k moral except of some special bossfights like saruman T2. But in TO T2 CM id 1-4 the moral is actually not importent.
In the moors i have 6,2k moral i think.
thanks for the replays guys was thinking the same have some moral jewls i carry for those tougher spots i did a 4man foundry with out death tho that's down to the awesome heals but a little moral for ToO sounds the best bet i would really like to see that set up tho 21k agi with 7k moral seems like the perfect build
As far as moors goes I'd advise at least +7k, personally I run +9k and maintain a comfortable +80% phys mastery (+95% with evade buffs). You don't want to be the guy who everyone focuses because he drops in 2 seconds, especially with the nerfs to TnG and KO.

Morale isnt evrything. Yeah its the first thing you see when you click someone. Its just one aspect of survivability. I guess high morale is good for the moors(never been there) but for raiding or any instances 6K morale is enough when there is a cappy to survive some big AoE hits. Having some extra morale just give healer some extra time to keep you alive, but mitigations are more important IMO. A person with 9K morale and 3K mitigations actully can make healer pretty busy. The better mitigations you have, the less heal you need and healer can concentrate more on tank.
I have just 6K morale even with my champ and yet someone sent me a tell that I am a shame of champion class - yet he doesnt know that I have 9K+ mitigations and some nice +incoming healing and actually pretty good survivability - for PvE ofcourse.
Works great in T2. I have a moral equip with 7.5 unbuffed but only 1.9k agility. Normally i have no problems with my low moral,it depends on the healer.
I don't use the Orthanc Set,moors bonus too OP.
My standart setup is 6.3k morale/ 32 phys mastery unbuffed around 2300 agi for the 4 wings of ToO t2 and have no issues (can be more glasscanon if needed) I get around 8k with buffs.
I get to 10k morale(buffed) loosing some dps for Saruman.
I've seen burgs with less than 5k morale unbuffed in glasscanon build survive fine ToO.
