Wish I was here at the beginning

So a few months back I decided to give LOTRO F2P a shot because an online friend recommended it to me and I also enjoyed reading the LotR books. I just never got round to playing this game before as I was quite careful with my cash and it was very rare for me to subscribe to something other than my tv and broadband package. When I first loaded up LOTRO I found the game brilliant and amazing during the first set of quests, I especially loved the bluring coldness of the ingame sequence when we first see the witch king which captures what Tolkien describes in the story. After enjoying a few levels I realised I was very restricted to what I could do and have due to being a free player, the restrictions being understandable ofcourse, and so I decided I would subscribe as a VIP.

I just wish that I was here all those years ago to enjoy the fullness of the original game and later expansions.

Well, you know... back then you would have to pay sub roughly same price as today's VIP... so there wasn't really a change

    Thank you.
I am looking forward to having as many adventures as possible in my spare time (usually before work and/or sleep ^^).

The script and the quests in LOTRO are brilliant and seem excellently driven and related towards the main LotR story. Plus the art direction has been executed dazzlingly, I really do feel like I am running around on Middle-Earth

Not sure if i should say welcome back or welcome for good

Anyway, if you enjoyed the books and want to be in a more immersive server with people that pay more attention to Tolkien's works/world, a suggestion would be to try the Laurelin-[RP] Server (RP is ||not|| enforced by the way)

Good luck and if you join Laurelin, feel free to drop me a tell in-game, if you like

    Cheers
