I have a Turbine account from way back, and can use it to log in here of course (I think I used it for LOTRO around launch for a trial or some such). Anyway, now that the game is F2P I wanted to give it a try. When I try to login, I get an error:
The username entered does not have an active "LOTRO" subscription. Please try another username.
Bwah? I thought the game was free now?
Any ideas on how I can log in with my existing account?
Since your join date is 0, er Dec 1969, I am assuming that you were in the beta. If you never played the game after release you never had a real game subscription. You will need to make one, and then you can play for free. If you did play the game after release, you should contact Turbine account support.
